I have seen so many videos of this lounge by other UA-camrs and travel Vloggers, but this video is the most comprehensive and the best one of this lounge, so far. This is also the first time that anyone has used the floor plan of this lounge to explain the layout of the spaces, this helped me to understand the layout of it much better. The piano music soundtrack is an excellent accompaniment for this type of video. Well done and keep up the great work!👍👍👍👏👏👏
Great video! I would happily join you in the games room! 😆 I always like a chat with other travellers in the lounge, although most others don't want to talk to me!
Stunning. I have seen SO MANY videos by professionals about the lounge. I was shocked to still learn so many new things from this video. This is the best video on the lounge on UA-cam. Period! Excellent job. Well done!
Great video, and really informative. I was in this lounge for the first time at the end of March this year and you cover everything in there in so much depth - great job. Looks like the lounge was a lot busier on your visit than when I was there, but I guess that just varies by the time of day (I was there from about 4pm until midnight). You have a new subscriber!
thanks so much. Actually its not busy all the time throughout the whole day. It come and goes, depending on the incoming flux and outgoing flux of passengers. I recall around 2am-5am, its pretty quiet
As someone who is frequently tortured by the ‘features’ available in most US Airport lounges, the fact that there are dozens of leather chaises with partitions already seems like heaven. It doesn’t matter to me if they aren’t proper beds.😂
I remember times when this lounge used to be almost empty! Just some tens of people in a whole area. It looks so bistro and full of people now. It looks like it’s almost impossible to get a comfortable free seat for to…. Looks really busy! Crazy… How long time does it takes to find a seat if you want to change a space It looks really nice and new though like some years ago.
Lounge crowds come in waves. There are hours of the day it gets super empty. Because Qatar and emirates all have the connection model, so airlines tend to arrive and leave in set time frames.
How long can stay in the lounge ? Is there limited time ? I have transit for 15 hours in Doha airport , traveling by Qatar airways economy class. I would like to stay in the lounge but I don’t know how much they take for 15 hours
Now this lounge is only reserved for people flying business and first class though. If u have status then u will be directed to Qatar silver, gold or platinum lounge depending on ur status tier. But if u r flying Qatar, U MAY be able to pay, depending on how crowded it is and how the mood of the check in agents. But even if u paid for ur access, it’s 6 hours use. But who’s gonna catch u in the lounge? :p
Did u pick this particular connection? Yea sometimes connection is quite tight. But still try to go there for 30min or so. I have a huge long layover coming soon next month with 20 hrs there. So sometimes u do get lucky. Arriving at 2300 but leaving next day at 1930. Lucky I got F. So can sleep in Al safwa lounge.
@@SuiteFlyer no my boss booked the flight so he probably chose the least connection time possible most likely. Hopefully the flight is on time and I get to at least spend an hour in the lounge for a drink and food. thanks for response
Bring wipes too. Ive noticied you shown a ton of areas to sleep/sit. Can't imagine how sanitary that is over a 24 hr period of thousands of bodies 😂. Yes good west joke too many westerners are sensitive
Impressive, thanks for sharing! I kind of understand why Qatar doesn't initially want to open the lounge to certain group of passengers, from the video, I see many are dressing down hence likely undermine the tastefully done ambience Qatar Airways tries to provide. The entire space is huge, was security an issue for solo travellers? I mean things left at your seat and you go and take your food or beverages?
Nice job with this video/review. The usage of the map throughout the video was very helpful! One piece of feedback; for me, I would have preferred the video a few minutes longer, with less sped up video (or at least less sped up video when the camera was moving side-to-side), as it’s a bit dizzying, for me. Thanks and good job.
Hello! Thank you so much for such an useful video! Will be pleased if you could answer some of my questions: 1 Can I come in with Lounge key code? 2 after I enter is all amenities and food free?
Hi. No u can get in with lounge key. This lounge is only for Qatar’s and Qatar’s partner airlines’ business class or first class passengers only. But yes all amenities and food are free. If u fly Qatar economy class, sometimes u can walk up and pay a fee to enter. But that is at the agent’s discretion. Sometimes it works sometimes doesn’t. It doesn’t have a consistent consensus online either.
If you are flying economy, Oneworld emerald will be directed to Qatar Platinum lounge. So not the 2 Al Mourjan lounges either. Qatar made it clear, Oneworld Business passengers go to Al Mjourjan lounges, First class goes to Al Safwa, OW Sapphire to Qatar Gold Lounge, OW Emerald goes to Platinum lounge. If u r flying business as a OW Sapphire, you can go either Al mourjan or gold lounge. If you are First class, u can go to all of them
@@SuiteFlyer ah okay. My dad said going in Qatar Qsuite is better than being Oneworld Emerald, because the Qatar first lounge for oneworld members isn't as good as Al Mourjan, let alone Al Safwa. I think you can also buy a lounge pass right?
Qatar Platinum lounge is similar level to Al Mourjan Business lounges, maybe slightly not as good. But yea, the Al Safwa is the top of all lounges of this world lol

Wow, thank you! It was such a massive lounge, a map to illustrate really helps haha. Thanks for ur kind comment.
I agree, great soundtrack. Also the mixing is good; some vloggers have the music too loud.
Love ur jokes with the super cinematic soundtrack hahaha.

Hi! Very good all around video of iconic Qatar 1st Class lounge at DOH!! But I did not see you mentioning "a lá carte" options!
As someone who is frequently tortured by the ‘features’ available in most US Airport lounges, the fact that there are dozens of leather chaises with partitions already seems like heaven. It doesn’t matter to me if they aren’t proper beds.😂
Woah beautiful video man....very epic at the end hahha
The most detailed Al Mourjan lounge tour I have stumbled across. Could you order items a la carte?
Thank you!! Yea there are some a la cart food to order on level 2. Make sure to try some of those sushis. They were great

I want to go to the qatar business lounge with my parents.
Hi,the videos looks so amazing.i paid to use the lounge last May,but it was not as amazing as yours. Not sure why.

Its a huge lounge, but some shots made me dizzy the camera is turning fast
Sorry for the fast motion. It has been told many times lol. I will move slower next time.
Please is the food paid for or complimentary?
Of course all free.
Do we have to pay for the food, after access this lounge
Everything is free :)
i’m going here tommorow but my layover is only 2hrs. i feel they done this on purpose

I always loved the design of the lounge but as qatar becomes bigger this lounge is so busy with so much wasted space
And even more so with the new added lounges in North terminal
You say this is massive because you've not been Changi T3
I don’t recall which lounge in Changi T3 has a bigger lounge than this.
I and the Father are One John 10 30
Hahahah woah. What a coincident

Short time is fine. For long duration they have luggage holding cells to use for free
@@SuiteFlyer Oh I see, thats nice to know, thanks for the tip !

I thought it is only open for Qatar Business and First passengers- not Oneworld Business

I’ll be there next week. I’ll do the same thing
Will they take economy class customers walk in?
yes, u can also buy them online for a discount here:

Is this the same as Al Maga lounge
