Just a bit of information on Kaldor Draigo: while he is the supreme grand master of the Grey Knights he isn’t actually able to lead them. This is because he is currently trapped in the warp and is only able to leave for short periods of time. However, what he does inside the warp can best be described as “40k Doom Slayer”. Need I say more?

It is also worth noting that, while he utterly destroys anything he encounters in the warp, shortly after leaving the area everything reverts back to the way it was before. It is theorized that his faith is so strong that it manifests as his purging of the daemonic, but because this is only a projection of his faith, it can only be sustained in a limited area and does not actually change anything.
In orther word, Draigo is too busy being the single worst character of 40k to be abble to lead the Greyknight.

I have been looking for another UA-camr who plays Warhammer Daemonhunters.
I follow The Mighty Jingles and been enjoying his walkthrough but want more.

Is it just me or do Grey Knight terminators look less bulky than other terminators?
They are. They have a much more advanced version of Terminator armor. It's closer in style to the older Tartaros style armor.

@@lionheartx10 Your lack of use of overwatch I find disturbing.
@@zannanger8147 it doesn’t quite pay as much to overwatch all the time in this game compared to XCOM for example. Daemonhunters seems to favour a more aggressive playstyle rather than looking for optimal overwatch catches all the time.
Lord Draigo, or Kaldor Draigo by hsi full name. Grand-Master of the Grey Knight and possible one of worst character in 40k. All he does is showing up to battle and beat so asses and being more plot armored than the Tau. Seriously that guy went on a 1v1 with a Deamon Primarch and not only survived, but WON! To put in in comparison how stupid that is, Robout Guilliman (Another Primarch) almost got killed when facing a deamon Primarch and barelly survived thanks to significant back-up like the full might of the Custodes and sister-of silence and the Emperor himself.
World of Warcraft wants its shoulder guards back.

Not lore acurate if everyone cant take terminator armour, allot of this games rules are bad, and it looks like a mobile game on top of just being an xcom game -_-. Well atleast we are getting a space marine 2 game, hopefully they expand from basic smurphs to better chapters with more abilities and loadouts.
Well, technically it's lore accurate for Interceptors. Terminator armour is to bulky for the personal teleporter generators to carry. For anyone else though, yeah Terminator armour is pretty much the ENTRY LEVEL for battle armour of full battle brothers of the grey knights.
Never understand the “it’s a mobile game argument” show me 1 mobile game that’s remotely as indepth as a dedicated PC title lol.
Oh no, XCOM in the Warhammer universe. What a terrible and unbearable game to have. However will I cope with one of my favorite settings mixing with one of my favorite games of all time?
Also lore takes a backseat to game design for entertainment. If you want straight lore accurate games, I suggest the actual tabletop.

Yeah the grey knights might be connected to the inquisition, but they were founded alongside the inquesition, not subserviant to it. Makes for some interesting story to have a group that can literally tell an inquisitor "Not now, we're busy" and get away with it!
Wrong, any inquisitor in the Ordo Malleus can second Grey Knights for their purpose if the need exists, in the eyes of the Imperium the Grey Knights Astartes exist as the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Malleus, the Deathwatch serve that role for Ordo Xenos.
@@woodwyrm well it's more complicated than that, basically the gray knights can say f you to all but the ordo malleus, but as they're part of the order some grey knights will outrank inquisitors and some inquisitors will outrank gray knights, all depends on the individuals
Technicly space marines in general have this level of independence too but like all the powerfull institutions they all realise not to go overboard in using their influence and power and it counts for inquisiters too as greater powers like the high lords may act against them
@@weegomo I would argue that technically, any Inquisitor in Ordo Malleus outranks any Grey Knight Astartes, with exception for the equivalents of company commanders and the chapter master.
In the end, the Inquisitor s standing vis a vis the Grey Knights and other things will probably influence whether or not a Grey Knight commander will hear the Inquisitor out or not, but to the Imperium the Grey Knights are supposed to at least work hand in hand with Ordo Malleus.
@@informationyes other Chapter Astartes would be fully in their right to ignore or give the Inquisitor reasons as to why they're not doing what they've been asked to do.
The Grey Knights, on the other hand, do not have that kind of luxury.

I ve just done this seed mission, i had to take less than 20 damage for my bonus reward, i am not sure how but i managed to do it haha, was well stressful and i literally fist pumped the air when i did it lmao
i wonder how many xcom players were shouting 'pull back to a defensable position!' and 'put your men in cover!' in that last section!

Well Grey knights wouldn't get much use of drop pods because think about it if they you drop pods then they would have to retrieve them after the battle which may not always be possible. Teleportation is cleaner and a more streamlined option, they're able to get in there kill the daemons and maybe a few civilians that have seen too much and then get out of there.
25:00 IMO Chaosgate should be played with way less regard for the safety of the troops than XCOM. Just effing change in and whack everything to bits for they are grey knights you are controller, are they not?
I actually love game like this xcom probably one of my favorite games.

Can you upgrade only one thing at a time on the manufactorum or can you upgrade one thing per sector/system? Becasuse it seems that lionheart is ignoring the other 2 so far

The XCOM player in me keeps wincing every time you place your guys out of cover. Maybe I just don't understand the strategy, but don't you want to keep your units in cover at all times like XCOM?
Probably won’t read but, [Space] to confirm an action rather than click if you care, also you can set a route by clicking to avoid overwatch and the like 👍🏻 Also as you hover over a position you’re planning to move to you can see all enemies in LoS by looking at the thin blue lines emanating from said position
I still find the outrage of the grandmaster a bit much.
The only thing he should be upset about is that she didn't contact him first and inform him of her intent to commandeer the ship.
But with communication being the way it is it's entirely understandable.
Kinda breaks my immersion a bit.
His reaction would be normal for a regular Astartes chapter, but they are literally the army of ordos malleus, he has an inquisition symbol on his chest for Terra's sake.
Huh, the Inquisitor is voiced by Y'shtola's voice actor from FFXIV.

Interceptors are without doubt a crazy good unit. In a game where movement and positioning is so important, a unit that gets around so quick and can teleport is King
You can teleport into a position closer to use frags tho to answer a question. It just uses AP so it's smart to keep that in mind
If one of your greyknights are cornered male combat them and kill power walker they can reanimated the dead
I wonder if this game has Dreadnaughts...
