16:05 about the GRID setting, does that option set does the GRID get saved in the SAVE image as well? Because setting was OFF, and all the images were without GRID, but did show the arrows?

Hello, hmm didn't notice, I have to locate the oscilloscope and unpack it to test again, at this moment is a problem, I just moved to a new home and everything is packed in boxes, as soon I find it I will check. Thanks for watching.

Those scopes have a couple of hundred picofarads of input capacitance; they can't handle high-speed signals. Even at 1 kHz, you experience a loss in signal amplitude. All those resistors and compensation caps on the front-end are just not suitable for a high-speed oscilloscope. With two 100 MSPS ADCs and all the tricks in the world, you will never get a stable 500 MSPS scope. But they always lie about those specs; even a cheap 200KHz scope claims to have 2.5 MSPS, but they use an MCU with a 1 MSPS ADC max. So take the specs of Chinese products with a huge grain of salt.

I have bought this awhile back (not because of this video). I'm kind of triggered at the fact some people who responded have bought it based on this video. The video should clearly state do not buy this toy. There is nothing valid about this handheld to make in any form usable. The video does not show how bad triggering is in real world scenarios. Measurements taken are absurd, you can be at a high vertical scale and the scope would think something else which will lead you into trouble. You cannot truely compensate the probe, all vertical bands are off, in 1x it is apparent when seeing sqr waves in all vertical bands. The Auto ranging is a joke and will work 1/10th of the time. No cursors, so you can actually try to do a measurement. All you get is seeing a inaccurate show of the waveform that is present. So here is my plain advise to people that is still considering this device, DO NOT BUY. Consider owons hds series instead which would be probably double the price and not perfect but it has its uses at least. Although I would recommend rigol or siglent low end bench scopes, the owon imo is at least worth your money.

How well does it perform for measuring AM modulation %? A 5MHz AM modulated signal? Is it good enough for calibrating AM modulation on a Ham Radio, for example? Thanks!

Hi, well, I wen to unpack it and test it again, and it works nice. But honestly, if you're looking a device like this I recomend you take a look in DSO2512G, DPOX18H or the DSO3D12, or in a lower range the 1C15+. I have videos for all of them in the channel, just saying 😁 Thanks for watching,

I like this in depth review a lot, but I hate to see the false advertising. I do not really trust them and if they instead of being honest with us want to fight the other loud screamers from china by topping them they will loose customers for sure.
    What can we do?
Not buy those products and spend a bit more for even used devices from brands we can trust and rely on, where spare parts are no issues even years or decades after you had purchased it.
The whole market will change pretty soon cause in China the unemployment rate is raising slowly and the chip shortage is over cause demand has vanished.
They will need to fight for prices and quality again , not for 500 Mhz worth 10% at max.
And finally those PC or Android boxes are just a bit more and offer an awfull lot more.
Yes, this is the best of the best in this price category, but they should look for right advertising cause in China they would be repsonsible for false product promises too.
They should look to get their product certified by TÜV or any well known european institute and then advertise with 75 mhz TÜV certified and maybe add a sheet showing the performances of their competitors.
Would sell much easier than the current situation. You needed to explain quite long why they are even good or best of the crap.
Would be easier to show the TÜV certificate, check if they deliver those then 75 Mhz promised and then such comparison sheet they should release to make a difference. Arguing that the other cheat too and those cheat even more does not add anything to their trustworthyness.
Same for solar panels you get from chinese markets especially these flexibel fake ones claiming 300W from an 80 x 40 cm sheet of cells or even more. Amazon is full of them even though the sellers have to take those back here if a customer complains. But too few complain due to not being able to judge a solar panel. Same for all the chinese micro inverters that do not deliver pure sine wave , that do not have VDE certificates and so on.
Good work from view and very well done in depth review, but again a product review which has to end with a bitter sweet taste just by fooling us.
Finally: I'd start a discussion what it would cost them to deliver 120 Mhz and why not throwing that on the market even though it might be more expensive but trustworthy.
Or to let it as it is but get a certification about the correctnes of the advertised features and then call it the TÜV 75 Mhz edition with the certificate and maybe a comparision to all the cheaters.
I would buy the honest 75 Mhz Version, I would avoid any of their crap competitors with 199 Mhz advertising and it would make my purchase decision instantly easier cause I would know after watching your review or of any other serious reviewer what to buy if I had seen TÜV certification and the table with all the over advertising results of the competitor. They say 75 Mhz and TÜV verifies that where other will promise 199 and deliver 19 Mhz.
I do not want to support a liar. I do not want to buy a product from a company without moral nor values that thinks it has to cheat.
I want a long lasting product that is good useable and has its value so that I can sell it used after years and not the chinese throw in bin crap that no one wants to buy anymore as used.
I keep finger crossed that one chinese company will listen, change their attitude to behave responsible and promise what they will deliver.
Right now the impression is that most chinese are liars except they have built a strong brand and reputation in the west. Sadly, but true.
I hope to see one day a chinese product review here where you can say that it had delivered as promised and therefore will get 5 out 5 stars upfront before going into the details.

Hi, my job here is to show what I found, show the product, so the people that decide to buy, can do it knowing what they're buying. It's sad the specifications are not what is announced, in terms of support, KKMoon has a website, but I wrote to them some time ago and don't even got an answer, so I don't know what kind of support you'll have. At least FNIRSI, as a whatsapp channel that works pretty well.
Regarding the devices in this 5-video series, I already recorded the video that will go out in August, 18th and I don't know if I will be able to record before my holiday the last one to be release on August, 25th... but, I can say that the video of the next week will destroy all the devices I reviewed until now.
But you have a fair and good point, these false specs exists because of us, the consumers. If you don't buy, they will have to improve or go out of business. That will be the perfect world, until then I try o clarify what the product really is. Thanks for watching and you comment! I really appreciate the time and effort for writing this comment! 👍

Can you use this oscilloscope to set the gain of an audio amplifier rated 450 W RMS at 4 ohms?
What is the maximum voltage that it can measure?

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  Рік тому +1

Hello, didn't go to see again the specs, but it is in the video :) but normally 40V ppk with probe 1X and 400V with probe at 10x. I think you should be ok, but anyway, check the specs before buying to make sure. Thanks for watching!

Hi, did you try to connect the Oscilloscope on the DC power supply meanwhile you are measuring a signal? In my case I notes that signal starting to move, or to oscillate a bit. I connect the DSO to a USB 5VC/2Amp and by doing this I get this problem. However, on battery mode it works perfectly. Any comment or suggestion it will be very welcome.

I am planning to buy this as my first osci. So many crap here online. Haha. I hope you can help me decide. For that, maybe you might try to use battery first to the oscilloscope so you can test your usb 5v power supply first for noise or ripples, then after that, please reply back what you've found. thank you.

@@TechCornerTV That would have been nice to know, that if you connect it with USB to the PC, that is it like a memory stick for the saved images? As 2500 RGB images of 320x240 doesn't take much storage space at all.
