It was beautiful to watch Sun Bo evolve from being the naive one in the relationship to taking charge of the wheels and stiring both of them into a near perfect relationship. He knew what he wanted and he want after it considering he was just in high school then. He overcame all of Lu Shi Gang's insecurities and made him start believing in himself. He was so persistent in making sure Lu Shi Gang's father accept them and it finally paid off. I love them both so much 🥰
Still processing the grief from the main couple. But.....these 2 saved me. Their love was an emotional cleanser for my heart. Grateful.
I have seen every bl dramas and movies across the world and trust me this is the most non toxic and healthy relationship I have ever witnessed.. it was a story of a prince(Lu zhi gang) who was alone and was struggling with his own sorrows and one day his knight(Sun Bo Xiang) came to his rescue and embrace his all scar and they lived happily ever after ❣️💜

Sun Bo is one of the best written characters in any BL series or films.
Impetuous, insecure, jealous, naive ... but so devoted and committed, he makes it easy to not only believe in love at first sight but in a love that will endure a lifetime. It is a love many won't get to experience but makes the heart soars nevertheless ... all the more so because it is so rare.
Sun Bo brings to mind the greatest, most loving and devoted boyfriends/partners on screen ... Seo Joon (To My Star), Shin (Minato Shouji Coin Laundry) and the exquisite Togawa (Old Fashioned Cupcake).
Let's not forget Leo and Leon (Don't Say No), P'Pai (Love in the Air)

The studious one died in a car accident when he went to the store for last-minute items to make dinner for family guests. The couple was in a good place finally. The tragedy could be felt ... when he left the apartment, the viewers knew something bad was going to happen.
The writers got what they wanted ... for the ending to be reacted to strongly. It was cheap and very unfair to the viewers.
I might have grown to love these two over the main couple, and I really admire Sun Bo's perseverance, and I just think that overall, they match each other's energy so much, and I was so happy when they finally got together. Thank you for making me fall in love with their relationship once again.
There is a strong possibility that this was really the main story but needed everything else around it to evolve properly. Love this couple.

Boxiang is just a heart on his sleeve bucket of emotions. I really did not like him at the beginning because he came on too strong and essentially dragged his bf into their relationship. Later, he was cute with his hopeless begging for kisses. But I don’t think I ever fully got over my first impression.

Obviamente nadie que haya visto esta serie podrá superar el final tan triste de Xiao Ting y Zhi Gu, pero al menos Sun Bo y Lu Zhi lograron alcanzar esa felicidad que a los primeros les fue arrebatada.

H3-MODC is one dramatic Taiwanese BL series that traumatised me profoundly in 2019. The slow burning love story was so sweet, silly-giddy romantik buildup frm ep1 till ep8 btwn YXG/XHT with fantastic rom-com acting of SBX/LXG as a beautifully 2nd couple foil - with Sun Bo Xiang giling us the most believable craze, teenage puppy-love kind vibes - superb acting skills reflecting real-life behaviour of teenagers blinded, starry-eye deeply flat-on-the-face, mushy-mush fallen in love with some one much older. Still the sad tragic ending of YXG was too much for me tauke in affecting me so profoundly till today 2022. MODC tragic ending series finito just before Xmas eve 2019 but tragic ending lingered heavily with in me till NY2020 and even a long period after that. Tho drama title is an ominous warning i was still unprepped bc the love story developed so intensely beautifully. Recall cussing the director and scriptwriter for ‘damaging’ my Xmas and NY festive mood, undeserving melodramatic end to the main protagonist loving couple. Still till today unforgiving. However, SBX/LXG a tadbit healing balm in defying love fate.
a glimpse of them watching the northern lights together at the end of Cdrama “Life-Love on the Line “ gave me a happy alternative ending to YHG/HXTs story.

If a possibility of future revival and reunited of thec2 love-struck lovers need to change director and scriptwriter ie TMC, SHT. Another crucial aspect dislike the melotragic ending as if alluding when getting no blessings frm parents who's so much against it your love union is doomed! What makes so insanely far-fetch ie of same family father, mother, son died in tragic accident! So for XHT&XYGs love union not parents' blessings death awaits either one or both for this type of BL relationship. Is that part of the embedded, alluded negative msg by scriptwriter espc that of gay love relationship? XHTs parents with XYGs death still hoping he'd marry girl of their choice whatever her name mentioned in script! Reading too much into it eh? - nay, don't think so. Itiswhatitis: negative subliminal perception. Still unforgiving!
