- In this Switzerland Train's cab ride video, we present train driver's view of the journey between Interlaken Ost and Grindelwald train stations of Switzerland, in 4k 60fps uhd resolution.
Boarded on the Bernese Oberland Railway, we pass through Wilderswil, Zweilütschinen, Lütschental, Burglauenen, Schwendi, and grindelwald terminal train station/ villages situated in the valleys. Berner Oberland Railway operates narrow gauge trains which use a cog wheel on the steep slopes between Interlaken (asl 567 m / 1860 ft) and Grindelwald (1034 m / 3392 ft). Undoubtedly, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen valleys of Schwarze Lütschine and Weisse Lütschine rivers, respectively, are the two most visited valleys by the worldwide tourists in Switzerland.
Note: Swiss Travel Pass is valid on this train route. At Grindelwald Terminal station, one can board on the Eiger Express and Männlichen Cable cars (Gondola). Via Eiger Express cable car, the journey time to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe from Interlaken is the shortest.

Narrow gauge
One of these decades someone will come up with a better name than the trite "Terminal" for this station. It always looked like a temporary stopgap to me. Problem is finding the right name. Why not just using a nearby village name, like practically all other stops? OK, so "Rothenegg" is probably not the best sounding in English, so maybe something like "Eigerblick"? Or simply "Grindelwald V-Bahn"? There are better options, I'm sure...
