thank you for the kind comments and encouragement everyone! i am still very ver much a newbie in the video department lol - i got a camera for christmas and never did video editing before that, so I am still getting the hang of things & learning :) For example, the footage of me assembling the Longboat jewelry got messed up somehow and would not play - but you will see more jewelry assembly when I get the next batch of stuff uploaded... stay tuned for a 2 part video from PassAGrille coming very soon - part 1 is uploading today and part 2 will be ready in a couple more days once i get the jewelry assembled :) thanks for watching and tell your friends! Side note: if anyone had a special shell they would like made into a custom creation as a memento from a vacation or anything, please contact me through email - i actually DO do custom work too :)
I had a great time watching your video! I love that you can go beach combing with the walker, and make some income from your hobby! Please make more videos!
I really enjoyed watching your 2 videos so far! They combine my two favorite hobbies, shelling and making jewelry. I love your perspective of finding shells that aren’t perfect and using them to shape into something beautiful! I look forward to watching your future videos! 🐚 ❤
Very cool video. Loved seeing all the treasures in the parking lot/walk way. The jewelry is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I have never seen anyone make he jewelry before. ❤
thank you! i started when i was a teenager, been making jewelry a long time :) but i sort of thought people might like to see what goes into the process -thats what my channel is attempting to do :) from the finding and cleaning to the cutting and creating, you get to see the whole process
Even though you're a newbie, you're doing great! Your voice is calming and personality is friendly and unassuming. You're also an inspiration being out there with a walker. Who knows, you may start something wonderful by being that inspiration. I love you showing your jewelry making out of your found treasures too. I look forward to seeing more videos from you.
thank you so much! Keep an eye out for part 2 from Pass a Grille - i make a big big bunch of jewelry in that video. I started uploading it yesterday so it should be complete tonight or tomorrow sometime :)
It's so peaceful going shelling with you! I will subscribe! Just a thought, those cute little "kitten paw" shells would make a great bracelet or earrings, so don't miss out on those, too. I love your finds, keep up the great relaxing shelling.
thank you so much - glad you are enjoying the channel! make sure to check out the mass stranding video that one is mind-blowing with all the little live animals!
I'm intrigued that you use a walker. I have a hard time walking. I have degenerative arthritis but I still want to beachcomb. I only get to the beach a few times a year. I really enjoyed your video:)
thank you! i have a spinal cord injury and balance problems from some autoimmune issues. i have been going to the beach as physical therapy - if i fall, its soft sand or water instead of tarmac or concrete floors.(definitely hurts less!) it sure is hard work to get out there but i have been doing it for a a couple years and I know i am stronger for it despite how hard it is some days. sometimes i am on the couch for a few days after i go out collecting. And there will come a time where i am not able to do it anymore lol so i am making sure i have lots and lots of shells to work with for those times i can't get to the beach! for example, i am allergic to red tide so if there is red tide around i can't go out to my happy place :( i would recommend if you can get to the beach, to have a chair to sit on and put it on a shell pile - at least you can beach comb while sitting still! do your best to get out there - salt water, sand, sun, and shells are all very good for your joints as well as your soul :)
@@echouebijoux oh yes mam:) I ignore the pain as much as I can and I go until I absolutely can't. Keep on inspiring us with your determination and beautiful shell crafts:)
@@denisedill3552 thanks i will - and good for you getting out there too. things that are worth doing aren't always easy but the satisfaction is so worth it!
thanks so much! right now i sell at shows - i have one coming up in tampa at the state fair grounds that is on the first weekend of April actually i am in the process of getting an online shop together tho and hopefully will have that up in the next few weeks :)
Can I ask you a personal question? If you don’t want to answer it’s all good. But why are you using a walker? And how do you keep the salt water from ruining the metal?
lol well i haven't figured out how to keep salt water from corroding the walkers yet.... i tear up about 4 a year actually. they just rust up where the folding mechanisms are that's the weak point. i use a walker and a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury i got from a very bad autoimmune reaction to a flu shot in 2011. lost the use of my legs over a 5 day period completely. as the autoimmune reaction subsided and the swelling went down i was left with a lot of physical problems. and unfortunately for me, the hospital i was in never administered any prednisone or benadryl when it could have actually helped. at first i couldn't even use a walker. its taken a long time of fighting to get a lil bit of mobility recovered.
folks seem to think it was a pig's foot, although i can't imagine how it would have made it out to the ocean and then gotten washed up again...? i don't know, we had some very significant flooding around here after Hurricane Ian, and I am wondering if maybe it was from that? was a very confusing beach find- and smelly OMG!
I would like your videos to show more of the jewelry section, and at normal speed. The great majority of your viewers will never go to the beaches you go to, but might want to turn their own holiday or home beach shells into wearable art.
a few people have said that... what i was trying to figure out once i knew that, was .... how on earth a pigs foot washed up on a barrier island in the gulf of mexico! there's no river emptying anywhere close to that so it was an out of place artifact so to speak lol
@@echouebijoux There are wild (feral) hogs on barrier islands along the coast of SC and GA... I wonder if there are feral hogs on any of the islands in the Gulf?
@@JILLCritterologist not that i am aware of.... we have spent a good bit of time out at desoto, egmont, and shell key and i have not seen any signs of them or heard them at all. LOL i used to live in SC they make a racket in the woods!
Your voice is pleasant and calming. You don’t move your camera too quickly so definitely will watch more of your videos. So glad UA-cam suggested you!

I think that weird foot you found is a hogs foot. Fishermen use them in crab traps as bait.
Pig or deer foot from the "ankle" joint down to the toes, hoof horn has "slipped" /fallen off
oh cool! altho, i am not sure exactly how a pig foot would have would up where it did! water is an amazing thing lol...

Pig foot. 100%
definitely one of the crazier beach finds i have seen - it smelled just terrible but was fascinating to see at the same time lol!
