Not sure if I'm too late to this combat vid, but I just killed 4 raptors in a pack of 7 yesterday. Using trees to knock them off or for cover is good, finding a corner to put your butt up against it is good as well. Time your swings and yes go to sparring mode to make sure all your corners are covered. Rush one of them so the others are fooled to follow you, then turn around and knock them to ground then proceed to pummel the knock ones. That's how I killed 4 of them. Also watch your dots when you're fighting, the moment they are gone you use stam, a lot of stam.
Use sparring mode so you can walk backwards and run backwards it also ensures you’re facing your target so they can’t pounce you
Those last ones were like angels to the rescue. That was awesome how you were able to survive all that. GG great job as always. Rock on.

@@reisolgaming Finally some animals that can help tank the Stego. I will cross my fingers with you. I'm happy with anything as long as it's progress hehe. Long waiting for new animals so this is a plus.
Preferably MY OPINION, but I think you were slightly a bit too aggressive at some points, mostly on that last fight. Good raptor players for sure but man did they play ur stam bar well. Personally I think you should've used the new sparring mech a little more to turn while being able to defend the front, because that now becomes a whole 360* front for everything. If its gonna be a long play, let them play it, just be defensive. They need meat so we can just graze grass and wait them out despite water. they would lose eventually and lose members.
Yeah, you're probably right. I do need more practice with dibble combat. I will admit, I'm not the best at combat in The Isle (especially solo combat). I still find it fun to play though! 😊
@@reisolgaming And that is what matters, but yeah. I would just be defensive with any Ceratopsian. Frill forward and bait behind and time it properly, basically bum bait for that ALT attack. Thats how I would do it as long as you don't get baited yourself.

We were still being chased by the 4 cerato at that point, so I didn't want to get left behind. 1 bite and I would have been vomit locked lol
Idk if it was intentional or not, but the dibbles slide allows you to turn 180-270 degrees almost instantly. Regardless of its turn radius, dibble is probably my favorite herbie as of now. That’s probably gonna change real quick once we get some more interesting herbies like Anky, or my personal favorite Deinocheirus

Lmao Evrima combat is going to become even more broken and stupid with al these mutations. Devs cant even balance the dinos as it is, imagine how broken everything will be when they add an entire tree och buffs that you can custom 😅
