Beautiful!!! I simply love Jazz music. This was a dynamite set, the whole group was on point.
Vincent tore The Gypsy up! Especially the cadenza at the end
Thank you all from deep in my heart.
Vincent Herring is fantastic! Such a big sound and total authority!
Joe Farnsworth always dresses sharp.
The Great Vincent Herring!
I love how they kick off their shoes when they realize how legit emmets place is..
Thank you for this new kind of tenor madness.
Joe's solo in Firm Roots is one for the books. Super enjoyable set all around!
Absolutely love the videos! Would love to see Saxophonist/Clarinetist Dan Block as guest!

Killing
Fricking amazhing!
What a great set! I've heard a lot of Eric on record in the company of Joe Farnsworth, and who I heard live with David Haziltine's garishishly overamplified piano (at his insistence), but it's very different (in a very nice way) with Emett. And Vincent has matured in wonderful ways since I last heard him. The two make a great team, conjuring Jug and Stitt, and playing Cedar's masterpiece, Firm Roots, which I got to hear Cedar play with his own band. Note to the sound mixer -- you're missing a lot of the cymbals that drummers are playing, especially in the rhythm section, with close miked drums but distant miked cymbals.
You'all, what a great jammed sessions during this pandemic time. Fabulous muzik selections specially when Eric blow on alto! What a surprised! Never heard b4! Up to date Eric & Vincent are among my top jazz maestro on this jazz planet! Got most all your recording collection on my library. It's my generation (old skool) when I'm listening both your recording. Btw Eric, when will you again recorded with your old pal Robert Mazurek?! My fav Robert! Joe you are fabulous great drummer (got some your recording). Love it with Eric together with the late maestro Harold Mabern (my legendary maestro). Emmet & Russell both of you are great musician! Love to see you both on gigs! Greetings from Jazzman Kuala Lumpur.
