Loved this! I've worked for Walmart and I've been to that one. Walmart never has employees anywhere in the departments. I bet you happened to be there at a time when the department managers have their shifts, hence the yellow vests. Hilarious!

My guy, it was probably you walking around with the backpack on. Walmart managers wouldn't have even noticed they've never met you before lol. I work in retail and the second I see kids, teens, young adults in backpacks my shoplifting radar goes off.

I worked at Walmart & the employees wear the blue vest that you had on. The CSM's (supervisors) wear the yellow vests. If you had just continued to straighten shelves & acted like you worked there, they wouldn't have paid attention to you. The security people were probably watching you on the overhead cams, acting weird & filming. They hate people filming in the stores & think everyone is a potential shoplifters lol. That's probably why they called a security sweep.

The ones in the yellow vests are Department managers. When you hear a "security sweep" in a certain area, they are looking for shop lifters. When someone asks you where something is, you could've told them that you're new there, so you're still trying to find your way around. That was funny though.
