Honestly, I was surprised, and I will make a video about my pre-order process, I spent a lot this year because both of my Speedy P9 bags fell within the last 12 months so I am assuming that factored in but it wasn't $100K like people were saying... my CA really pulled through and I am thankful for her 💕🙏 I really wish they made enough for everyone to get what they want!

The Murakami pre-order right after the p9 deep dive really was a budget blowout 😬 But at same time, the P9’s were a big help in allowing me to pre-order early Murakami early 😮💨 I feel really grateful & thankful! I just got home from NYC … I was able to go to the Murakami pop up party there and so I picked up my pieces in person there - it was a dream come true. I was in heaven and fully immersed in Murakami mania all week!! (You should’ve seen me watching my carryon luggage like a paranoid lunatic on the way home though).

I can’t believe I completely missed that … I guess I was hyper focused on multi-color! lol I’ve also had the long intention of getting a set but - like you - I hold out for special editions. Honestly shocked about the packaging and feeling very blessed. It seems like e-commerce/warehouses were well stocked in the packaging unlike the stores which was so unfortunate and def not a luxury experience.

Rachel, I was able to get one gorgeous piece, it finally fulfilled: a Monogram Neverfull Murakami, but it is a little too loud for me on the outside, or a little too much red- I adore the bright interior, I can see all of my things in it, but, the outside, has too much red- can you think of a way to tone it down? I ordered the Character Bandeau to cover up some of the red if I hang it from the hardware or handles, but do you have any thoughts? Thank you so much. I love your videos :)
My murakami trio pouches have the same ripples I think it’s down to the way have been stored, I have mine stuffed and weighed down with heavy items inside and it’s definitely getting better.
I’m not angry at all that you bought a lot from that collection. This is my first time watching your content and seeing your shelf display you really love LV special pieces and to miss out on this collaboration would be insane! I love your idea to frame the scarf! I think you can go even further by framing the tissue as well if it’s not too wrinkly or even incorporate the character gift tags to make a composition just to keep those tiny keepsake last a lifetime as opposed to just hiding it in your drawer. Just a suggestion because it’s obvious you love the LV x TM to the point that you can identify the names of the characters, etc. Great unboxing! ❤💙💚🧡💛

I was so shocked it took me a minute to register it!!! I also haven’t seen anyone else with it but I’m thinking maybe online orders are only using it for scarves…. Not sure I’ve seen any other scarf unboxings yet I need to vet this theory!
Thrilled you were able to snag your bags! Loved the pouch in the NF. The only thing about the rerelease was that we didnt see Murakami himself highlighted in similar fashion when LV rereleased Kusama.
💯 agree! Murakami himself did not see to get the same love that Kusama got and it really bothers me, this is def one of the things on my list that they did wrong 😞 the whole thing is very confusing
I also just remembered that Murakami collaborated again with Marc Jacobs this past year for his brand. Curious if he ( Murikama) opted to be left out of the campaign. Next rerelease, Stephen Sprouse????

It was supposed to be Friday 1/10 but they only restocked shoes, fragrance and the bucket hat so not so if they will ever restock anything else…. Random things may pop up with returns tho you never know! I actually just wanted to add the fragrance so I ended up being able to get it
Beautiful pieces ❤. I ordered 2 pieces from this collection - I picked up one yesterday at my LV store and no special packaging or stickers (the other piece isn’t in yet 🤞🏻). But, incidentally, I ordered a random pocket organizer online for my husband a couple of weeks ago for his birthday and when he opened the packaging box last night that it was shipped in (I hadn’t opened it yet from when it was delivered last week), it had the Murakami sticker pack and ribbon from this collection 🤔. Happy I ended up getting some stickers but that was random. Probably why there wasn’t enough to go around for the actual collection - they are sending them with non Murakami collection purchases 🤷🏻♀️.
The toiletry pouches are probably rippling because the were shipped inside one another. I’m so happy the inside is pink cause some were complaining about the cosmetic pouches didn’t have the hot pink interior.
That’s what I was thinking too maybe the packing my CA said to stuff them and let them sit for a few days to see if they regain their shape which is what I plan to do. I agree they should have done all fun interiors I’m shocked the cosmetic pouches didn’t include pink like the passport and card holder did!!!

Dying... congrats! Sad my preorder fell through (long story). Can u share what Alma is coming/that you plan to go for? Was debating about this Alma (but also trying to hold out for the next two). However, the way this launch went off... I have very low expectations that we will be able to even order anything. LV let so many people down. Sad that some of the influencers didn't even know the bag they got or how a strap attached to a bag... meaning they aren't true LV fans (I've seen a couple videos like that). I got a few SLGs and got one bag on launch day (the Carryall) and returned the next day, because I thought my order was actually pending ... (my CA said he could order me some items the previous day). I have a few saying pending order validation now, so we will see. It's not looking good, though. ☹️ I live in Vegas & went to 4 out of 6 stores, sadly, most didn't have inventory or packaging. It was slim pickings for SLGs, basically. 🤯 At this point, I don’t think I will get what I was hoping for. I think this will cause more craziness for the upcoming launches. It's strange to think that I have never have had such a hard time trying to spend thousands of dollars at a store before (other than Chanel for certain bag colors/styles). 😆 This launch was definitely different and most of my old CAs have been completely unresponsive. I am shocked about their lack of communication/ follow-up. Luckily, I recently met 3 new CAs (different stores) that have been kind and responsive. Keeping my fingers crossed! 🤗 Oh by the way, I got that same Trio pouch (someone's order fell through) yesterday. The biggest pouch has indentations going down the sides (where the pouch inside was). Hoping they go away with time/proper storage. ☺️
Ugggh I’m so sad your bag fell through! This whole release was a mess I honestly thought they would have this VERY well stocked and I am shocked they made it this limited or severely underestimated the hype. My hope is that they take this disappointment as a sign to increase the inventory for the next parts but who knows at this point 😩 will be very curious to see what changes they put in place. From what I have seen there is a pink epi cherry blossom Alma that I am gravitating toward and then a really stand out white monogram w/cherries that is very unique, I think they are both very special and nice updates to the original collections for collectors that want to add more new designs vs being so close to the originals. We will have to wait and see the final product but it was enough to make me say I’m going to wait on he multicolor… On the toiletry pouches my CA said the same thing to stuff them and let them sit and assess in a few days could be from packing/shipping, I’m too excited about the hot pink interior to let them go!
Ya no Murakami packaging at all at my store. Also just a blah process. I had reached out asking about details and pricing for the collection and the CA just said she wasn’t sure and never got back to me. Once it was out, I contacted her and she ordered some things for me but orders haven’t been fulfilled yet. Just.. doesn’t feel good. Not luxurious at all.
I agree they really messed up on this release, not a luxury experience at all and a lot of people reporting quality issues, it seems very thrown together and a Murakami re-release deserved so much better! Were you able to get any of the pieces you ordered?
We saw fragrances and shoes load on the site yesterday I was actually just looking for the fragrance which I was able to get. Yeah at this point restock is a bad word… seems like a couple random items load here and there I saw the bucket hat too… may see things pop up from returns as well. I’m sorry it’s been such a mess 😩

I think they wanted it to have a slightly more casual vibe than the full silk scarf but the vintage bandanas were 100% cotton! Either way the price sucks tho 😩

😞 genuinely hate that it comes across as bragging, I don’t want that at all. I feel very blessed and lucky to have been able to secure the items I wanted and when I placed my preorder I really believed LV would be capitalizing on this release by producing as much inventory as possible to make as much money as possible and I’m sad that people were not able to get their dream items. I don’t like lining a billionaires pockets with my hard earned money but I do enjoy supporting an artist like Murakami and I hope he was paid well! I also did what I could to share any release info on my TikTok to help as many people as possible secure items who may not have had access to the information I had access too and I helped a lot of first time customers secure items 💕. I’m not a reseller I’m a collector and I was careful not to buy duplicates and only buy what I really wanted. Also blessed to have gotten the packaging and plan to share with my followers who didn’t get any because I don’t need it all by any means. I do appreciate you watching and wish you all the best 😊

I was barely able to get 2 items my cologne finally shipped but my passport cover is still pending. Almost a week of pending validation….i was only able to get the passport cover because of my SA she said it’s been fulfilled but they are waiting for the sourcing. It’s super annoying to see everyone getting like 5-10 items when some of us cannot even get 2 or in my case only getting 1 out of 2 items. You got a great selection tho and I’m happy for you 🥹

Honestly shocked about the packaging and feeling very blessed. It seems like e-commerce/warehouses were well stocked in the packaging unlike the stores which was so unfortunate and def not a luxury experience.

Rachel, I was able to get one gorgeous piece, it finally fulfilled: a Monogram Neverfull Murakami, but it is a little too loud for me on the outside, or a little too much red- I adore the bright interior, I can see all of my things in it, but, the outside, has too much red- can you think of a way to tone it down? I ordered the Character Bandeau to cover up some of the red if I hang it from the hardware or handles, but do you have any thoughts? Thank you so much. I love your videos :)
My murakami trio pouches have the same ripples I think it’s down to the way have been stored, I have mine stuffed and weighed down with heavy items inside and it’s definitely getting better.

I’m not angry at all that you bought a lot from that collection. This is my first time watching your content and seeing your shelf display you really love LV special pieces and to miss out on this collaboration would be insane! I love your idea to frame the scarf! I think you can go even further by framing the tissue as well if it’s not too wrinkly or even incorporate the character gift tags to make a composition just to keep those tiny keepsake last a lifetime as opposed to just hiding it in your drawer. Just a suggestion because it’s obvious you love the LV x TM to the point that you can identify the names of the characters, etc. Great unboxing! ❤💙💚🧡💛

Yay multi color tissue paper! You are the first paying customer ive seen get it. Everyone else i saw that had multi color tissue paper are influencers who had then speedy nano gifted to them by lv.
I was so shocked it took me a minute to register it!!! I also haven’t seen anyone else with it but I’m thinking maybe online orders are only using it for scarves…. Not sure I’ve seen any other scarf unboxings yet I need to vet this theory!
Thrilled you were able to snag your bags! Loved the pouch in the NF. The only thing about the rerelease was that we didnt see Murakami himself highlighted in similar fashion when LV rereleased Kusama.
💯 agree! Murakami himself did not see to get the same love that Kusama got and it really bothers me, this is def one of the things on my list that they did wrong 😞 the whole thing is very confusing
I also just remembered that Murakami collaborated again with Marc Jacobs this past year for his brand. Curious if he ( Murikama) opted to be left out of the campaign. Next rerelease, Stephen Sprouse????
@ he was supposed to collaborate with Marc for his 40th anniversary and he was in the photograph when the announced it but they never actually dropped a product which is so strange…. People are still waiting and wondering if anything will ever come 🤷🏼♀️

It was supposed to be Friday 1/10 but they only restocked shoes, fragrance and the bucket hat so not so if they will ever restock anything else…. Random things may pop up with returns tho you never know! I actually just wanted to add the fragrance so I ended up being able to get it

Beautiful pieces ❤. I ordered 2 pieces from this collection - I picked up one yesterday at my LV store and no special packaging or stickers (the other piece isn’t in yet 🤞🏻). But, incidentally, I ordered a random pocket organizer online for my husband a couple of weeks ago for his birthday and when he opened the packaging box last night that it was shipped in (I hadn’t opened it yet from when it was delivered last week), it had the Murakami sticker pack and ribbon from this collection 🤔. Happy I ended up getting some stickers but that was random. Probably why there wasn’t enough to go around for the actual collection - they are sending them with non Murakami collection purchases 🤷🏻♀️.

Does the ripple hit at the height where the other was inside it? It may be from pressure on them, and or heat and cold in shipping.
Yeah that’s what my CA said could be from shipping. She suggested to stuff them and let them sit to regain their ship so we’ll see… 🤞🏻
The toiletry pouches are probably rippling because the were shipped inside one another. I’m so happy the inside is pink cause some were complaining about the cosmetic pouches didn’t have the hot pink interior.
That’s what I was thinking too maybe the packing my CA said to stuff them and let them sit for a few days to see if they regain their shape which is what I plan to do. I agree they should have done all fun interiors I’m shocked the cosmetic pouches didn’t include pink like the passport and card holder did!!!

Omg so many pieces I think can work for men! But yes the black soft speedy would be my #1 pick! Obviously the Keepall too, the key pouch, the bandanas, the passport covers, the card case (real men wear pink!), the bumbag (remove the bow), so many honestly!

I picked my package up in store yesterday. I think they stole my sticker and ribbon. Well, took them off and gave me the original ribbon. I should’ve had ship to home.

Dying... congrats! Sad my preorder fell through (long story). Can u share what Alma is coming/that you plan to go for? Was debating about this Alma (but also trying to hold out for the next two). However, the way this launch went off... I have very low expectations that we will be able to even order anything. LV let so many people down. Sad that some of the influencers didn't even know the bag they got or how a strap attached to a bag... meaning they aren't true LV fans (I've seen a couple videos like that). I got a few SLGs and got one bag on launch day (the Carryall) and returned the next day, because I thought my order was actually pending ... (my CA said he could order me some items the previous day). I have a few saying pending order validation now, so we will see. It's not looking good, though. ☹️ I live in Vegas & went to 4 out of 6 stores, sadly, most didn't have inventory or packaging. It was slim pickings for SLGs, basically. 🤯 At this point, I don’t think I will get what I was hoping for. I think this will cause more craziness for the upcoming launches. It's strange to think that I have never have had such a hard time trying to spend thousands of dollars at a store before (other than Chanel for certain bag colors/styles). 😆 This launch was definitely different and most of my old CAs have been completely unresponsive. I am shocked about their lack of communication/ follow-up. Luckily, I recently met 3 new CAs (different stores) that have been kind and responsive. Keeping my fingers crossed! 🤗 Oh by the way, I got that same Trio pouch (someone's order fell through) yesterday. The biggest pouch has indentations going down the sides (where the pouch inside was). Hoping they go away with time/proper storage. ☺️
Ugggh I’m so sad your bag fell through! This whole release was a mess I honestly thought they would have this VERY well stocked and I am shocked they made it this limited or severely underestimated the hype. My hope is that they take this disappointment as a sign to increase the inventory for the next parts but who knows at this point 😩 will be very curious to see what changes they put in place. From what I have seen there is a pink epi cherry blossom Alma that I am gravitating toward and then a really stand out white monogram w/cherries that is very unique, I think they are both very special and nice updates to the original collections for collectors that want to add more new designs vs being so close to the originals. We will have to wait and see the final product but it was enough to make me say I’m going to wait on he multicolor… On the toiletry pouches my CA said the same thing to stuff them and let them sit and assess in a few days could be from packing/shipping, I’m too excited about the hot pink interior to let them go!

Ya no Murakami packaging at all at my store. Also just a blah process. I had reached out asking about details and pricing for the collection and the CA just said she wasn’t sure and never got back to me. Once it was out, I contacted her and she ordered some things for me but orders haven’t been fulfilled yet. Just.. doesn’t feel good. Not luxurious at all.
I agree they really messed up on this release, not a luxury experience at all and a lot of people reporting quality issues, it seems very thrown together and a Murakami re-release deserved so much better! Were you able to get any of the pieces you ordered?

We saw fragrances and shoes load on the site yesterday I was actually just looking for the fragrance which I was able to get. Yeah at this point restock is a bad word… seems like a couple random items load here and there I saw the bucket hat too… may see things pop up from returns as well. I’m sorry it’s been such a mess 😩

I think they wanted it to have a slightly more casual vibe than the full silk scarf but the vintage bandanas were 100% cotton! Either way the price sucks tho 😩

😞 genuinely hate that it comes across as bragging, I don’t want that at all. I feel very blessed and lucky to have been able to secure the items I wanted and when I placed my preorder I really believed LV would be capitalizing on this release by producing as much inventory as possible to make as much money as possible and I’m sad that people were not able to get their dream items. I don’t like lining a billionaires pockets with my hard earned money but I do enjoy supporting an artist like Murakami and I hope he was paid well! I also did what I could to share any release info on my TikTok to help as many people as possible secure items who may not have had access to the information I had access too and I helped a lot of first time customers secure items 💕. I’m not a reseller I’m a collector and I was careful not to buy duplicates and only buy what I really wanted. Also blessed to have gotten the packaging and plan to share with my followers who didn’t get any because I don’t need it all by any means. I do appreciate you watching and wish you all the best 😊

I was barely able to get 2 items my cologne finally shipped but my passport cover is still pending. Almost a week of pending validation….i was only able to get the passport cover because of my SA she said it’s been fulfilled but they are waiting for the sourcing. It’s super annoying to see everyone getting like 5-10 items when some of us cannot even get 2 or in my case only getting 1 out of 2 items.
