I had the scallops (light & delicious), onion soup (too clear and bland), and the Dover sole (SUPERB!!! Best fish dish I’ve ever had.)
Le Bistro has always been one of my favorite restaurants on NCL
We had dinner at La Bistro recently on the Ncl Pearl and I didn't remember in the past any up charges and was kind of annoyed . I think the dinner package should include everything on the menu without the extra charge
The French press coffee I had there was some of the best coffee I have ever had!

I'm so proud of Sharon trying the beef tartare! Its good to try new things. ❤️😊And escargot is essentially a butter and garlic delivery device. Nothing wrong with that. 🐌🧈🧄🥖 It's so fun to try some fancy stuff you don't get at home. It's worth putting on Real Pants! 😁

I agree that Le Bistro is the best NCL specialty restaurant, but I think my wife would have issues with this menu, and I hate that they appear to have taken creme brulee off the dessert menu. Hopefully it was just on that particular night. Their brulee was to die for!
I loved the profiteroles with chocolate sauce and cried when they disappeared 😢💕
Are the beverages that were nonalcoholic up charges also or are they included in your dining package reservation?
Beverages (alcohol or non alcohol) are not included in the dining package, but they are included in the free at sea beverage package if you have it. Thanks for watching!

This menu is in dire need of an update. In fact all the NCL menus need updating. They've been the same for almost 10 years.
Funny, as you were talking about having a fine dining experience in front of the restaurant, I’m watching the guys in the background go in with shorts and jeans and was thinking…. That’s too bad that they didn’t dress nicer for a “date night” restaurant , then you mentioned some were asked to go change… wonder if the people that went in ahead of you were asked to leave.
Lol..They were sent to go change ...it was nice to see the dress code enforced!!

Why are there prices on the menu? Isn't the food paid for when you purchase the specialty dining package?
Yes, but not everyone has the package, some people come in and just pay ala cart (for each item they purchase).

Escargot had too much seasoning and garlic. They were way too small! I got bigger ones in Steak and Ale restaurant years ago!
I’ve never had escargot better than at Steak and Ale. Too bad they went out of business.

On the Breakaway they took away the boilebaise which is sad for me, though the snapper was tasty and not a bad size piece of fish. I got a French press of coffee and loved it! I got sick from the Escargot. The scallops are the tiniest bay scallops I have ever seen! So small they added cauliflower to make it look like more. It was so puny! Come on Norwegian get some Sea scallops!

I may be in the minority but Le Bistro is over rated and one of my least favorite NCL specialty dining restaurants. Its not bad but I dont go there anymore.

No, they did not..they were turned away and had to get changed!!lol
Far to many up charges creeping in to these cruise lines. Which makes the whole idea of cruising less attractive.
