I had Lyme since the age of 15. Nobody realised it, so untreated until 55. Then I had it again for several times. Antibiotics did not really help. So I made myself a tincture of Artemisia annua and Dipsacus fullonum. Very high concentated. I took a tablespoon evey 4 to 6 hours, for several months. It really helped. And I took all vitamines in high dosage, to fight all the long lasting symptoms of lyme, especialy severe depressions and not standing light and heat, what we have here in Austria more than 8 months the year. I also had joint pain and fatigue. I really feel better now.

That's super ... really happy for you as it's such a nasty illness to recover from. i am taking herbs under the care of a Naturopath and Functional MD. I would be nervous to take high doses and damage my liver. No easy answers with this illness. Glad you have come out the other side!

Try bee stings, you have to get stung by bees with help from a herbal doctor who specializes in it. I'm very serious.. many people have been cured this way. And I mean CURED

Being sick for over 30 yrs, I finally got diagnosed after 18 yrs. I had to travel to a different state. decided to go to Mayo clinic. That doctor did not want one thing to do with my he wouldn’t even say the word I was laying on the floor waiting for each appointment. I spent five days there in a hotel. By now with all the natural medicines I was paying $1000 a month. My daughter that works taking me was getting very disgusted. I was farting when I got sick with the flu like symptoms so by the time I got diagnosed and started trying to find a treatment I was 60. Then I was told it was my age, so now I’m 70 still living with it after all the money that has been spent all the travels all the different doctors thyroid doctors. It took three years to even get me on the right medicine trying to take one symptom at a time very very discussed with the whole deal, how do you expect me to pay for membership after spend all this money and to be honest I have not seen any changes in 30+ years even the natural doctors say it takes a long time and very expensive. Not going on 71 how smart would it be to keep spending money I don’t have because of all the waste? I know this is not what you want to hear or write down to hear other people talk about it, but this is my story.

Oh my gosh me too! 51 years of Lyme. Got it at Summer Camp in 1973 near Lyme Conn. Have a son with autism. Which is probably really Lyme. We will never test positive because it's systemic. And no one believes me, not my family, not doctors. My severe son makes them uncomfortable so it's easier to just label me a wanna be victim and turn their backs. I wasn't sure there was another person on the planet with Lyme for a long as I've had it. It was named in 1975.

Garlic works like an antibiotic in the body which is certainly more beneficial than chemicals.

And the ticks that you get it from are the tiny nymph babies that are the size of a pin head. You don't even know you have one. It bites and hangs on for 24 hours then drops off, and you didn't even know it. Sometimes you don't get sick and don't have a rash and it hangs out in your system for years then activates and does its thing.

Lots of good thoughts there and he only had a few brief minutes for his answer but I didn't hear him mention co-infections. I took tinctures for about 9 months with no improvement. I went to a new clinic and found out I have H Pylori mold and high level of SIBO. They are currently treating those. All in all Ive been in some form of treatment for over 18 months with no real change. Lyme is such a nasty illness.

I really empathize with you. Four yrs. misdiagnosed with MS, followed by 17 yrs. diagnosed with FMS. Finally got Lyme diagnosis. Did almost 5 yrs. on Cowden protocol (Cat's claw, banderol and other herbs), plus tons of supplements, biofilm killers to unmask coinfections and cystic forms, a special diet that caused me to lose my gallbladder, etc. No change, continue to slowly deteriorate with severe insomnia making it hard to heal.

@@meagiesmuse2334 That’s awful! A diet that caused you to lose your gallbladder? I had mold toxicity and breast implant illness when I lost mine. NO IDEA what caused that!

@@Tinyteacher1111 - I'm really sorry that happened to you. I had been vegetarian and the Lyme diet required a lot more protein and fat than I was used to. I developed a whole lot of small gallstones. One thing that helps now that the gallbladder is gone, is taking a daily dose of Tudca, which thins the bile so it flows better and you don't get stones in your liver.

If you get bit and see the tick. Pull it off and put in ziplock bag and put in freezer. Then take it to your doctor to get tested for Lyme disease. Or askyour doctor to remove it and test it.

@@GrammaSheila5 I’m not sure, she just takes it as one of the treatments with the other things she’s doing. I have Lyme disease and the thing that is helping me the most of all right now is some wonderful herbal tinctures. Astragalus, Japanese knotwood, cats claw, etc… I’m looking into ozone therapy now to learn about it. Lauricidin is good for supplements and rhodiola, and curcumin.
