I see both sides. You give cops faster cars and you're just giving cops training wheels, like how 3.0 was for cops. Cops had the best cars, guns, motor bikes, multiple heli's, boats, submarine, EMT, large amount of unit, etc. all in 3.0. But I also see the cops side bc crims always have multiple interfering cars and it's hard to catch someone when there's always a rescue car to pick up a crim on foot. Also, it probably gets tiring when crims are always trying to rescue a down or cuffed member.
So cops just want an instant w 😅😅😅😅😅

Interfering cars aren’t as powerful as you make it seem as Cops usually have double the numbers, at least from CG’s perspective because it does always happen. The problem with buffing the cars is it removes the choices they can make.
If you take a character like April Fooze and you put cops in better cars the chance of her getting away becomes slim to none. The car will literally drive itself so well (and to be honest they already do with how they take turns and correct) anyone not mechanically skilled in driving in GTA essentially shouldn’t make that kind of character because of the combination of the grind to get things and the punishments when you get caught. That limits rp when the best interactions people should be having are when they are running from pd. Basing the entire forces strength level on only the top criminals is never going to work out well. That’s worse for both getting new players to try Nopixel and worse for keeping them around when already so many barrier to entry’s exist.
Roleplayer who go thru the effort and get approved to have the game master type power pd has should understand they are not the centerpieces and should not be chasing W’s. Koil has said this so many times for what the vision of PD is.
It shouldn’t get tiring… if it is they should take a break play another character with less responsibility.
I think top speed isn’t really an issue. It makes sense that they should be able to keep up to stop people from just highway blasting it out of situations. I think that it makes more sense to limit things like acceleration and turning than speed. I would say durability too, but crims would abuse that every time and have their buddies play bumper cars.

Their cars already have a force shield that rams like a tank to eject people a lot of cops already abuse this mechanic to kill people. Faster cars would be a shitshow 0:03

Ahhhh, the same cycle over and over again...
- PD focusing on quality over quantity on a server wipe. Proper training academys happen, and the server works to find balance. A select few cling to power, resulting in quality RP cops leaving for being punished. In comes mass hiring because on-duty gaps in shifts (mostly AU/EU) result in gangs running rampant and messing up the economy.
- Desperate to have enough cops to handle crime, training, and basic understanding of laws for officers diminishes. Resulting in criminals mag-dumping horrible cops.
- PD gets buffed because they have to. Since the slow-burn economy is essential in making the server wipe last for a couple years.
Simple facts. All RP streamers, minus a few exceptions like Burn, are 70% self-insert characters. The reason ppl connect with the character is coincided with the streamer themselves. Compound that with the hive-mind that is live chats, and you have maximum toxic potential. Imagine actors having fans influence their decisions constantly while filming.
OG 1.0/2.0 viewers miss the old days, as the RP was pure since no mechanics enabled RP. Summit, Lirik, XQC, TimTheTatMan and several others gave the first boom (mostly Boe622 though, let's be real) and RP blew up in popularity.
3.0 came along at the perfect time during COVID, and the likes of Sykkuno, Hassan, Valkyrae, Fuslie etc. brought peak viewership and subcounts to OG RPers and new favourites. While this enabled many struggling/popular streamers alike to find life-changing financial success, it also created cult-like communites that echo-chamber the streamers' opinions and emotions. Blurring forever, the IC/OOC perspective of RP.
The likes of Spaceboy, Chatterbox, Burn and other pure RP based streamers now struggle because NP focuses on mechanics "to drive RP" but, in reality, has created a capitalist streamer economy. Top creators like LK, Ramee, Buddha, etc. need minions to grind mats, rep, money and mechanics knowledge to drive THEIR content. While the grinders survive off the scraps and raids of the top streamers.
Like mainstream politics, the divide amongst communities in RP has never been more divided. And what's wild truly is the overinvestement. Frankly, these streamers dont actually care about you, as you merely represent a portion of their income. While connecting and making friends within the community is a positive thing, the continuous "cry more" or "touch grass" or " its only in RP" comments reinforce the delusional and unhealthy relationship viewers have.

As I said before it's not that pd cars are bad because there not it's more the fact that there are a FEW local cars that even a decent driver can lose cops everytime. If you buff pd cars then even more local cars will be useless. So if you just nerf a few local cars ALITTLE then it will make the pd have better chased with MORE types of local card and the pd won't have as much of a problem. (BTW you can't JUST take lord kebun opinion on it because the pd brings out 20+ cops to catch them. The pd doesn't do that against alot of other ppl. Like cg HAS to get aggressive back because the pd STARTS aggressive with them. Normally that isn't the case with most other crims.) And if they buff pd cars all it will do is make more crims cry like 5 yr Olds so if you nerf a few local cars just by alittle then it will make pd happy and it SHOULDNT make the crims bitch to much.
