Honestly, I was a bit worried about how herbie would take it. But herbie is the best big brother. How cute were they playing with each other.

Just wanted to give a little bit of vet advice.... both herbie & Hecktor will connect at first sight because of the same breed and family background however that can changed effectively quick..... for them to stay connected and to continue to get along as well as they are when you arrive from being out or waking up in the morning always connect with herbie first because labradors can feel easily Neglected and unloved quickly and that can cause them anxiety and problems between the dogs.
That’s just a bit for advice, lots of love Ben ^

This is exactly how I felt! I remember when picking up our Shih tzu, only his sister was left, had we known or been better prepared we would have taken her as well, it was bitter sweet, as about 6 to 8 months prior to this, we had another Shih tzu only 2 years old, had seizures and passed away, I still cry! Anyway my husband pushed getting another puppy, more to help me feel better, anyway as we were leaving, his sister started whimpering, than I started sobbing, it was so bitter sweet for me, losing our little cutie pie at only 2, than getting our now 2 year old cutie pie, to seeing how his sister was left behind, we still think of her and hope she ended up with a fantastic family! Anyway Congrats on the puppy/Hector he’s a cutie, Herbie and Hector look adorable together.
I know that was so sad watching the mum lose its baby 😭 giving birth then having someone take your baby away, I honestly think dogs feel the sane sadness that a human would :(

This breaks my heart ❤ we had our 13 yr old lab harvey put to sleep in July he had cancer. He was Amazing with our disabled daughter they was the best of friends.

I have a seven year old lab molly and a one year old lab Millie and I completely understand the feeling and love you feel for them and how much better your day gets when you see them but the are still a lot of work especially when one is sick
having two dogs is honestly the best i have brothers too except i got them at the same time and they love each other so much and i know that whenever i leave them they always have each other so they won’t be completely on their own
Just out of curiosity do you find that having two dogs who are siblings means that they're bond with each other is closer than the bond they have with you?x
@@carmenbenson4489 no not at all they have an extremely close bond with me and my family one of them actually had seperation anxiety from me but we’ve managed to control that now
The reason I initially subscribed to your channel was when I got my first lab puppy and found your videos of baby Herbie.. now they’re thinking of having another litter and we need to make a decision about whether or not we want one.. this is a sign. Although my boy is only 7 months but he would absolutely love a friend

When Hector does a wee, say "do a wee" " do a wee" over and over till he finishes.... same for "do ya business" and pretty soon he will do it on command! I'm 2 Labradors experienced It really works if you're consistent right from the beginning! Gorgeous boy's 🐕🐕
Christine Clark well said I’m a dog trainer and I’ve been doing this with every one of my Labradors for the past 30 years. At the moment I have two ex guide dogs which is just another story completely they’re soooo intelligent! 🦮🐕🦺

I’m sobbing this video was so comforting, I lost our family golden Labrador only 6 months ago and it has never been the same. Anyone reading this comment please please please appreciate and be forever grateful to have a dog they’re honestly you’re best friend and love them everyday as much as you can!!!

He got put to sleep in july.. herbie so reminds me of him.. the bestest dogs

@@Dollypops43 One of the hardest things to go through, Archie was 12 years old and we lost him to cancer during May this year and because of lockdown we wasn’t able to go in with him to be put to sleep and only have 30 minutes to say goodbye honestly heartbreaking. Herbie and Hector bring me so much comfort x

Aww it really is awful mine was in surgery
And they couldn't save him as the cancer had spread so bad, he had a huge cyst on his
Leg that ruptured and revealed a big gaping hole.. he had the lump for yrs and it didn't bother him we had him up n down to the vets
Non stop. And they just said it's fine it's just a cyst! And then it grew like a tennis ball
And popped.. my heart broke as he was so patiently and lovingly let me bathe it with salt water. I miss him horrendously
It's empty and dull without him..
Hopefully harvey and archie will be new

@@Dollypops43 awww :(. Hopefully they’ve met each other up there. That happened to Archie he had a lump on his leg and under his neck and the vets said it was nothing to worry about and then he suddenly got really ill really fast and turns out the lumps were cancerous
