Hello Swapnil I have been on the same hunt and already test drive Tata punch amt i10 amt i20 cvt wagon r amt swift amt per my experience Tata amt is the slowest in terms of response time they need to work a lot to tune this better, I found Hyundai and Maruti amts better tuned also engines are the heart of the vehicle 3 cylinder engine will definitely make you feel underpowered I would have to admit that that in terms of the initial torque Maruti engines does the best job even with amt gear shifts are much better Tata amts have issues you can watch video people have uploaded on UA-cam now on build quality definitely Tata has better built quality but it does not guarantee that you will walk out alive on every instance it’s a relative index safe safer safest no immortal armour pls understand this and there is no perfect car as well. My closing comments Tata punch is suitable if you are looking for a city drive but manual transmission value for money package, would recommend swift or nios or aura its you want to go for amt in similar price band over this budget you can look for cvt gear boxes which are better refined and tuned no jerks
Sir jitna aap bol rhe ho utna problem nhi hai. Aur AMT me jurk to rehne hi vala hai. CVT rha to best hai. Aur aek baat Jaan hai to jahan hai so build quality ko kbhi halke me nahi lena chahiye. Jis price pe ye car hai us price pe koi bhi car SUV look + 5 star rating+ made in India hai hi nhi. Suzuki ka engine achha hai but usse bhi achhi apni jaan hai.

Mein aapse 100 percent agree karta hu jaan se uper kuch Nai but my whole point is when you buy a car it’s a whole package with pros and cons mujhe Nai lagta koi car maker aapko controlled environment mein kiye gaye crash test ke basis par aapke jaan ke guarantee de sakta hai that is how I think swift has 2 stars that means it is safe but not the safest but it has some other positives

Atleast your car should be run atleast 2000-3000 km than only give you mileage.
