So why are you people out there " rescuing" apes you can't afford to take care of? With all the millions of people out there right now desperate for food, shelter, medical care. This seems to be such a waste of valuable resources on a bunch of useless apes. Maybe budget better and only go on " daring" missions you can afford to do instead of begging everyone else for funds.
Hi Kathryn, it's estimated that Only 1 out of 6 orphans are lucky enough to be rescued - over 1,000 orphaned orangutans are living in rescue and rehabilitation centres.
