That’s amazing. I’m just an ice climber in the white mountains of New Hampshire. Can’t even relate to a climb like that. Very impressive and nice drone shots
Congratulations on both the successful expedition and the drone shots. That summit footage is exceptional. How did the drone do with batteries in the extreme cold? I summitted Huascaran in 2010 as part of my Panamerican Peaks project (cycle the Panamerican Highway, climb highest peak of every country along the way). We didn't see to the East due to clouds rolling in just prior to us reaching the summit. Back then consumer drones didn't exist yet. I would have loved to have that view! Thanks for sharing. Your video made the expedition look easy - it's not. Very impressive climb and dealing with cold and high altitude.
Hey! Thanks so much and congratulations to you as well! The batteries definitely suffer, and I had to warm them up before taking off, and also in the air, flight time is slashed maybe by half? The altitude makes them work harder as well.
Hey Jose! That’s awesome! I feel you! I did Volcán Cotopaxi- Ecuador, and I cried on my summit! It’s awesome to see how the human body adapts! But great video🙌🏽
Siempre fascinado con todo lo que haces, sé lo difícil que puede ser llegar a una cumbre, la verdad no sé como te das el tiempo para sacar esas increíbles fotos y videos, admiro tu capacidad para capturar todos esos momentos en la montaña. ¡Eres grande!
Incredible documentary, Jose! Felt like I was there and you told a great story around the entire experience. The summit scene is incredible 🔥 thank you for bringing us along for the journey.
Felicidades por la cumbre. Todo el parque nacional Huascarán es hermoso. Acabo de realizar dos trekking a sus lagunas y cumbre al nevado vallunaraju. Deseo regresar e intentar más cumbres.
I love this, Jose! There’s so much I can relate to. No apologies needed, what you showed us in what you could document is amazing, especially the summit drone shots. I can relate to wanting to put all your mental focus on the climb and not the filming. It was the very same experience for me on Ama Dablam. The coolest parts I couldn’t show anyone. 😢 Also felt very emotional!
@@josemostajo thanks for your reply! You will love Ama Dablam. I enjoy following you. Your eye for composition, light and storytelling is on point! Inspirational. Are you returning to Everest in 24?
Hei Jose! Breathtaking photos and respect for that achievement! Could you please tell me, what music you choose... about 3:10 to 4:16... Thanks and greetings from Austria 💪🏼
I would like to do this hike in April and place some of my dad’s ashes on the top of Huascarán , you’re my hero for doing this hike. I’ve been following your work on IG for years 🥹
Excellent footage. Thanks. This is one huge mountain
Was on Huascaran in 1981. Wonderful to see it again.
Wow, would've loved to see how the mountain looked back then.
Yo the drone shots from the top are INCREDIBLE! Props to you for bringing it along. Amazing job man! Keep it up!

Beautiful ascent!!! What boots are your wearing? I couldn’t tell…
The La Sportiva G2 Evo!
Impressive ascent and cool video !
Thanks so much!
I don't know how you managed to climb that mountain and get good shots at the same time. Very good work!
Haha thank you!!
Amazing. Did Alpamayo a few years back. Cordillera Blanca at 6000 m.s.l pretty special
That’s awesome! I ran out of time, but goal is to do Alpamayo next year.
Your breath is so short at camp 2, so scary! what was the elevation?
It's just under 6,000m!
Wow your awesome
Much appreciated 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Awesome video 🤍
Thank you! :)
How much would a trip this cost minus the gear?
I like the drone shots showing just how enormous the mountain is compared to you guys
yeah! massive 🙌🏼
Dope video dude 🙌 👌
