Hi, Valerie. I'd like to help you in pronouncing Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language). Well, basically for the vowels they are not pronounced the same way as in English. The writing and the pronunciation in bahasa Indonesia are the same. So
A is pronounced as ah
I is pronouncrd as ee
U is pronounced as oo
E is pronounced as eh
O is pronounced as oh
for consonant C is pronounced as soft ch like church.
Ch or Kh is pronounced as hard ch like choir or chord. So, Cakra is pronounced as soft ch-ah-kr-ah and Khan is pronounced as hard ch-ah-n.
Hope the info will help you in your other reactions oon Indonesian singers or musicians. Finger cross.
