In order for security to get involved you have to call police it's very similar to Walmart and Target you have to file a police report in order for security get involved and they're only going to show the person of interest to the police oh what supposedly happened to the police that's just the way it works
I don't understand how anyone can justify stealing someone's stuff. I'm a single mother of four, have no clue how to buy my kids presents this year, but I would NEVER dream of stealing someone else's things. God is always watching....they say what you do to someone comes back 10 fold.

Were you able to get to your car? That would have been the icing on the cake if not. Thankful you were still able to replace the items and the kids didn't miss out completely, but regardless, what a horrible experience that you'll never forget. I’m so sorry that happened. Recently a package was put in my mailbox that belonged to neighbor a couple of streets over that I didn’t know. I went to take it to him and he was in disbelief that I was honest brought it to him. He kept thanking me over and over again and I could tell whatever was in the package must have been pricey and important to him. I was surprised that he was surprised by my honesty because wouldn’t most people do the right thing? It wouldn’t have dawned on me to keep something that didn’t belong to me. I hope healing can happen in all the hearts of those that steal, so that they won’t feel a need to take from others. May they know that a appreciative and thankful heart is a heart that attracts more of the same to it. An entitled and deceitful heart will not be attracting abundance.

I love how positive you are when a bad thing happens. You guys are one of my favourite family's to watch on UA-cam, it breaks to see that someone would take it and not hand it in. We aren't in a good financial situation ourselves, but I would always do the right thing and hand it into security or the store it was brought from, as I like to teach my children the right thing to do. It was very kind that the stores did give you a discount as well.

I’m so sorry that happened. It’s such a horrible feeling. Contact your bank if you were using a debit card, or credit card company that you were using and left them know about the theft. Some will cover your loss or reimburse you for the amount stolen. Hope that helps.

Me and my husband had something stolen from us and we filed a police report. Thankfully, we had insurance to help us as our item was never found… I hope y’all file a police report. It is really great that y’all are able to repurchase everything, but if something like that happened to me, i would be out of luck . No way i would be able to repurchase everything. The person who did this should be reported so hopefully they don’t do it to someone else… I’m sorry this happened. She was given a 2/3 empty bottle of perfume, not a toy for a 9 yr old boy, and no food, and the clothes,I as a grandma wouldn't wear! Charity this year STINKS!! People's hearts are stone! one of my favorite christmas traditions is on christmas eve we go to my mom's aunt's house and gave a huge Christmas party with food and presents! we have a big family so its fun to see everyone. last year we couldn't because of covid which was really sad and my moms uncle passed away sadly but this year we are doing it!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is opening stockings on Christmas Eve and this year at church we are starting a new tradition ( new for us ) of lighting the advent candles and our family gets to light the Christ candle on Christmas Eve this year
That’s so frustrating. Someone stole my phone at target once and I had my mom call the police because target didn’t want to. You still can file a police report. Even if the mall security says they won’t. I think it’s more work for them so they don’t like to do it.

Out trampoline flew through the fence in the massive storms recently and there is no way I can afford to replace it so now the kids go without. It’s such a blessing your kids won’t go without.
Looks like all of the jabs at mall security being useless have been proven true. It’s very admirable of you to take on the mindset of they need it more. That’s really hard and I try to do the same thing.

Me and my husband had something stolen from us and we filed a police report. Thankfully, we had insurance to help us as our item was never found… I hope y’all file a police report. It is really great that y’all are able to repurchase everything, but if something like that happened to me, i would be out of luck . No way i would be able to repurchase everything. The person who did this should be reported so hopefully they don’t do it to someone else… I’m sorry this happened. It was heart wrenching as I could see how distraught you were, but glad you and your children were strong enough to remain positive. ♥️

I'm sorry that you had to go through that! I just saw what a neighbor got from a charity! She is going through a really hard time. She was given a 2/3 empty bottle of perfume, not a toy for a 9 yr old boy, and no food, and the clothes,I as a grandma wouldn't wear! Charity this year STINKS!! People's hearts are stone! BTW, my kids and I came together to get her children Christmas!

I will never understand why some steal. Unfortunately a lot do it just to sell it off. What a horrible example set for her children. All you can do is pray for people like that. Stores don’t seem to have too much grace when it comes to making money wish they had given you everything for free. So sorry this happened to you ❤️
I could only afford a couple books from a discount store for my daughter and would have cried if anyone stole the $20 worth of items in my budget. I can’t even imagine having $700 to spend and being okay with losing it!

one of my favorite christmas traditions is on christmas eve we go to my mom's aunt's house and gave a huge Christmas party with food and presents! we have a big family so its fun to see everyone. last year we couldn't because of covid which was really sad and my moms uncle passed away sadly but this year we are doing it!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is opening stockings on Christmas Eve and this year at church we are starting a new tradition ( new for us ) of lighting the advent candles and our family gets to light the Christ candle on Christmas Eve this year
That’s so frustrating. Someone stole my phone at target once and I had my mom call the police because target didn’t want to. You still can file a police report. Even if the mall security says they won’t. I think it’s more work for them so they don’t like to do it.

That is horrible that the lady stole your bag. I will bet on it that she is a professional thief. I worked in retail for many years in a high end store and the amount of theft we had was unreal. I also work inside a police station and am in police records so I see this all the tine. So sorry you all had to go through this experience. It was nice of that one store to give you 50% off. I remember once when my mom thought she was being organized and got me and my 9 other brothers all of our Christmas presents in one trip ,she had my baby brother with her and with her and when she was putting him in the car someone stole all of the presents, my mom was fuming. There is never a good reason to steal, children follow suit watching parents throughout their lives . This woman has no conscience at all otherwise she would have returned it. I'd be devastated as on a pension and save hard to but My 12 grandchildren presents, the stores should have looked up recites so when this woman comes in for refunds they are blocked!
