Fiske and Verse are going to be HUGE, as teams try to adjust to them, Kobie Turner turns it on, like he did last year.
I see HUGE things this year for this team. The Rams draft character guys, they're BIG on it and it feeds into their culture, which is solid.
Add Byron Young and Ernest Jones and we have some heat

Oh, for sure man. Look for Tre'Davious White to make a surge. The surgeon that helped him get his step back had a lot to do with why he wanted to go to the Rams.
Yeah, some a sleeping on this team...and I get it, so much has yet to be determined but if you just look at their camp video, the vibe is PURE ENERGY. It's gonna exciting to watch the male sheep this year!
everyone on that Dline looked better with Donald getting 2+ lineman on him every pass set, i'm curious if they will regress heavily in terms of their production without that source of gravity
@@fredreickweaver809
I'm not saying FISKE is AD but I'm saying his combine numbers and AD's are REALLY close and Fiske is a rookie, he might do more damage than people thing.
I like that he and Verse sort of feed off each other, which will push BOTH of them to be great.
I see the genius in what the Rams did here and I think they're gonna get some bang for the buck on this.
At some point, ONE of these guys is gonna start drawing doubles...my money is on Fiske, which will POP open the other guys.
@@fredreickweaver809Kobie turner got doubled more last year than Donald. I know that sounds crazy. But look it up. It’s true
That 2nd round pick next year is practically a 3rd the rams at least make divisional. They spent a 3rd round pick for a talent they viewed as a 1st Rounder I dnt understand how that’s not spoken on
it's the numbers game and analytics game these pundits play. Some of these guys don't even pan out in the long term, some get hurt. the Rams have already proven that picks don't matter. They laughed at them when we gave up so many first rounds for Jalen Ramsey...are those guys HOFers that Jacksonville picked? what about Detroit? they picked a RB with that pick from last year...Gibbs going to be a HOFer? Goff? nope! Stafford will be and they have a SB to match.
@@latwaunmccottrell3815 the picks do matter the front office just know how to use them efficiently! In Snead we trust
Rams winning the Superbowl this upcoming season.
I get that the Fiske / Verse dynamic can’t really be quantified from a PFF perspective, but football is a game of people, and I think their previous experiences will prove incredibly important in terms of getting the line to play as one unit early on in the season. Steep price, yes, but could easily turn out to be a steal.
I think the rams like Tre White for primarily 2 reasons. When he is on the field, he’s been a top CB. But now that he’s older and has a lot of experience, he can make a huge impact on the younger players in the Rams Secondary. And that leadership can potentially pay out huge in the next few years. Just like AD made a huge impact on Turner and Young last year. That guidance put their development on the fast track. I think the same thing is possible with Tre White. Young players like Tre Tomlinson, Coby Durant, etc. have all shown flashes, but never put it all together. This could be the spark that helps fulfill their potential.
What you guys obviously dont understand is the Rams are super young and dont have many holes they need to fill, and if they dont get those from the draft, they will just trade for the player they want. Everybody was saying they traded away future with all those 1st rounders traded, but each and every one of those were spent perfectly and they have SB to show for. And are again in contention this year. The fastest turnover ever
Les is aggressive and he and Sean have a vision for what the 2024 Rams should look like. No one in the organization is concerned about a future 2nd round pick. If Fiske hits it's just another feather in Sneads pimp hat, if not big deal. Kupp was a 3rd rounder, Puka and Kyren were 5th rounders, the scouting department knows what they are looking for throughout the rounds.
Make no mistake if the Rams are in serious contention late in the season, Donalds coming back and future first round picks are being dealt. They are going to push hard every chance they get until Stafford literally falls apart.
Stop whining about the second round pick! He’s worth it
I'm hoping and expecting to see the Rams run more on offense while stuffing the run on defense. Big change from 2022 season!
Started from the bottom now we're here
As a Ram fan generally I don’t like this move either, but the Rams draft last year was sensational as was Kyren Williams 2 years ago (3rd round). So Les Snead/McVay both get the benefit of the doubt here
Correction: Kyren is a 5th round pick
@@bettercallsaul1777 you’re right! Thanks
Rams next year's pick is going to be in the mid to high 50 most likely and the draft pick they traded was 53 number this year. Fiske probably was a 1st round pick if there wasn't this massive class of OT, WR, QBs that were taken in the 1st. What they gave up for the potential they got in Fiske is worth it.
Chemistry is real and not always reached nor reached quickly even at the NFL level. This by no means that either will be better, there will be no wait or wonder if they will develop it. They are a smart and athletic pair that have personal vestments in each others success, which I believe shorten their learning curve of the new defense. I don't think they traded up for better, I think they traded up for quicker.
Return of the Mob Squad
Time will tell, but if the Rams think Fiske is a first round, day one starter who has impact-- I think their calculation is correct. A second rounder next year will more than likely be at the end of the round and be more like a 3rd round selection. Also, they have time to make a trade before next years's draft to gain someone else's second rounder. If Fiske is a bust or just an average player, then I would agree it's a horrible mistake. But if the next available lineman was a huge drop-off on the Rams evaluation board then this is a great move.
Rams haven't needed 1st round picks for years and he is sweating a 2nd rd pick? The guy who doesn't understand chemistry clearly has not played or coached any sport.
Does anyone know what article is being referred to? Jordan (sports reporter /writer?) regarding Rams
That’s Jordan Rodrigue the Rams beat writer from The Athletic
@@Jimsterrr93 Thank you, sir. Go Rams!
If . . . no . . . When this works with Verse and Fiske, the rest of the league will copy the drafting teammates model.
The Rams are good at drafting in the lower rounds. They always seem to find gems in the later rounds. So to the Rams trading a high draft pick means nothing, because they know that they can find good players in the later rounds. Pucca, Kobe Turner, Karen Williams. When you can pick players like that from the bottom of the barrel. Why worry about high draft picks?
Les and McVay have not anything to prove to me that I should judge their decisions
Rams got an extra 3rd pick next year because Raheem Morris is black so they didn't lose that much in giving up a 2nd round pick. If Morris was white then maybe they don't trade up. It's a shame i'm even typing this because no team needs to be compensated because of someone's race. It's absurd and I'm a Rams fan.
Bro it’s because he’s a head coach wth are you talking about
@@noahgilchrist5927 I'm wrong they got two 3rd picks in 2024 and 2025 because he is black. Google is your friend. If you lose a minority coach you get two 3rd round picks.
its not if youlose a blackcoach, its if you lose them and they are hired to a higher position like GM or HC. They got a couple thirds for Brad Holmes becoming lions gm too. i agree in a fair world the compensation is not necessary. may not be in this world. howevergiven th history of the NFL and the covert racism that im sure lurks in some high NFL offices i get why it is a thing. its unfortunate but im not going to pretend like the fair and prportionate hiring of minority or black people for high positions hasnt been an issue throughout the NFLS past and this countries past.
@@GFarrsight Having two extra 3 round picks can dramatically alter the course of a franchise if they play their cards right all because of a particular coaches race? It's wild!
@@Randy4me it’s a policy that everyone can take advantage of and honestly should take advantage of. Gives opportunity to coaches that have been slighted in the past. Be mad all you want. It wouldn’t have been put in place if it wasn’t a problem.
AD didn't LeBron. He retired
At least these guys know more about talent than Les Snead and Sean McVay. 🙄
The talk from all of the media about the Rams giving up a 3rd rounder in 2025 is ridiculous. The Rams didn't have a freaking first round pick since 2016. Do people think they care about giving up a third rounder at any point? Did everyone forget "fuck them picks?" Crazy talk.
It's all an unknown now, but I trust in Snead and McVay.
