Butler can still get a regular max contract from the wolves he just cant get the extra super duper max. If Jimmy doesnt want that contract, its fine, its fine for him to ask for a trade, still be a professional, show up to practice, preseason, and don't put your team on blast. Be a man and do what you gotta do without hurting your teammates. Many players have been unhappy and they handled it better, Melo wanted out of Denver but he still acted like a pro until the trade was made.

Patrick Ryan If Bill Walton made it Rose can make it. Their careers are pretty similar (won MVPs young then had injury issues). Only difference is Bill won a title with Portland, if D Rose can win a ring as a key contributor he could get in.

My favorite player in the NBA. His story is so inspirational, in terms of getting hit with a bad hand and still making it work. When ever im hit with adversity i think of him as a prime example of getting through it. D-Rose represents the never quit mentality and encompasses what it means to live and breath the sport. So happy for him. Im hoping he gets traded to a team that can actually go all the way because Rose deserves a ring so bad. He will always be the biggest "what if" to ever come into the NBA. Prime Derrick was something that you just had to see to believe.
