The ability to donate squad members so people can focus on upgrading one squad member at a time to 4 star like clash of clans, it could help progression greatly
That would be a great addition for f2p players as well as potentially p2ws as they can also get portal energy if they are maxed out per donation

They need to add clans or some type of community like you said, because that would allow for more game modes. 4v4 clan games. Team death match: (4 teams of 2 people). Clan wars capture the flag etc
I'm definitely fearful that things won't get better quick enough, but as a Supercell lover they will almost certainly have a gamechanging update eventually. Just hope it's not too late.
In the time being, I bet most your audience wouldn't mind if you went down to a video every other day! I'm not sure how much that affects the YT algo, but I definitely think a video every other day or just a couple a week is better than you quitting all together!

I would love campains or lore/story related stuff, stuff like that can also help captivate an audience. They could easily try to add lore to the game, with the whole wierd crossover portals and the mysterious wizard that stands above the plaza
Plaza improvements that give you more useful buldings and also more customization
Better/ less repetitive quests like the quest book's "bust x skeletons" quests woild also give some thing to keep you busy
Increasing the frequency of events
A social feature like clans or something, or a better social hub sounds awesome
I really want this game to continue getting bigger because i enjoy the concept/actual gameplay BUT How TF am i buying a $10 season gem pass & not getting free chest tickets for that whole season??!! I get purchasing doublers & triplers but WTF. They have to AT LEAST have a plaza building to generate gold. U can only play 3-6 games a day for “free” without spending actual coins & thats stupid. Imagine having to pay 50cents every time u wanted to play a 4 minute match in ANY other game… its a really stupid concept imo

I completely understand and agree with everything you mentioned. The game is addictive, but it's in dire need of some community and purpose. I'm struggling to continue playing, after having played every day since soft launch :(
I'd liken it to a burger. They have the patty and buns (core gameplay) but they're missing the condiments that should bring the game into its own. They rushed the release of the game for sure but I feel like the game can only go up from here so I have faith it'll bounce back.
I think it's also important to note that Squad Busters is very different from other Supercell games in that the skill ceiling is much lower. The sheer dropoff in searches could also be because players from other Supercell games who downloaded at launch stopped playing. After all, SB is not as skillful as they expected from a Supercell game. I think as more people discover the game organically, the game will slowly become more popular
Yeah definitely, that's one thing I don't really see brought up, there is just so much less skill expression in squad busters compared to the other SC games I've played throughout the years (clash royale and brawl stars). Also there is a complete lack of gameplay customization and controllable variants. In other games you choose which cards or brawlers you pick, and they all play very differently from each other for the most part. Squad Busters you don't really get to do that. You have 0 control over the draftable units, and the units don't really have unique interactions. In Brawl Stars and clash royale there are some decks/brawlers that aren't great, but counter very specific comps (think bringing colette against a high health enemy team, or a thrower to punish the other team for a lack of wall breakers) but the worst squad busters units just don't really counter good ones, so you almost never want to add them if given the opportunity.
I think the bigger issue is definitely the lack of clans, but that doesn't really pertain to me specifically, but more the general target audience supercell usually aims for (middle to high schoolers playing the game socially)
I quit Squadbusters like a month ago and I still watch your videos because I enjoy your content and your enthusiasm. If you drop this and pick up a different game Id watch it.
@supercell yall need to sponsor chisgule and maybe even hire him for strategic management or a developer. Just listen to his resume in this video.

you should make a list with all the things squad busters needs to add/change and compile it in a video!
some ideas and things you already mentioned:
-faster progression to ultra tier
-progression overload system
-clans
-clan challenges you can complete together (similar to pinatas but more competitive)
-more chest tickets/ways to play
-more creative modifiers/more bonus modifiers
-2v2/team gameplay options
maybe it would help to inspire the managers on what the game needs to engage more players if you and other creators made a video like this :) also all the glitches need to be fixed really badly!
Bro, honestly your videos on gaming comment are the best I have ever seen. So clear, easy to understand, and most important HONEST! PLEASE DONT QUIT SQUAD BUSTERS, because honestly I know this, no one can put out the type of videos you can. I'm not saying this to boost your ego, I'm saying this cuz it's just a fact. So know, you quit, I quit, and I'm sure quite a lot of others will quit. Some people were put here on this earth for certain things, and man this is your calling, you tube videos, they are just excellent in all categories, keep up the superior work, and most important, thank you, cuz you make my gaming easier .
I think it's just personal preference about what genre we liked
For me personally i won't playing 16 hours for a game eventhough it had really amazing community, as i got work to do and i'm not a youtuber.
For me Squad Busters is more suitable to me , as i'm just casual player, although it had less social interaction , but in real life i already meet a lot of people to recharge my social battery, so probably that's why i didn't bother too much about the community being dry in this game😂
I also play clash of clans, and it had clans, but i think i never talk or chat with them frequently, as i probably play the game like 1 hour or less, and too busy with real life
Anyway you're one of my favourite squad buster youtuber, been enjoying your content since start playing this game, but i do respect and understand it, if you decide to quit this game, i will enjoy it while it last 👍

Understandable that you have to look at alternatives tho, especially if sb content stops being «sustainable». I hope you can at least get a creator code soon, and some things going. Yeah so when the new update dropped all 12 of my accounts were deleted and supercell said it was purely an accident and there is sadly nothing they can do about it for me. I went to Apple and got a full refund since global launch. lol was nice getting another paycheck but a big bummer.
I feel like we’re playing to get nowhere. To get to ultra tier gets harder every time they add new characters. But they need to add new content to keep it interesting. This game needs something massive and soon or it will fall to the waste side.

As a PM as well. I completely agree. If they structured it similar to ultimate Golf with team playoffs and such
well, based on their other games, clans and clan wars of some sort could be added in the future, although same formula, it will add some sort of community interaction.
What the game needs;
1. Clans and things weekly they can work to get more chests
2. Needs another in game currency and upgrade. Coming with that, weapon slots on each character to upgrade adding more effect.
3. An activatable ultimate
4. Raid events
The developers need to make it more obvious that one can play without chest tickets. If one doesn’t have any chest tickets, it is optional to play a “free” game if the play button is tapped. I didn’t know about this until about two weeks ago (lol), and I will say that I’ve played more squad busters in these past two weeks than the sum of all the rest of the time since its debut. Before that i would wait until the chest tickets were 3/3 before trying to play a session, or once in a while use my accumulated coins to get tickets. The downside is that the characters are not upgraded for that game without a ticket (no opening a chest at the end of a game), but the player still makes (slooower) progression or gains coins via completing tasks, or Pinata Bank, or bounty hunter, etc.
The progression after the three star level is too slow, and i would prefer that each upgrade incrementally boost the abilities of a character instead of a boost at 10, 100, and 1000 babies. Three stars upgrade is fairly quick, but to grind ten times longer to get to ultra tier will cause many to drop out of the game, and without large real player participation, the bot players are ruining the game imo.
Also if you’re not in squad league, it’s kind of frustrating how random some of the gameplay feels, for example how lucking into a multi trader/supplier combo almost can guarantee a top finish, while getting some other characters can doom you. I agree with your comment in the video that SB is like playing a slot machine. It was also astonishing how many games were necessary to grind through to complete the bounty hunter task because the maps are randomized, and the monster needed to bust for each bounty only appears on certain maps. It mustve took me about 15 games before i encountered the map with an ice golem, and trying to deliberately be killed to get to another map took often took longer than i thought because the bots would avoid busting me!
If you continue with SB content, i would like to see tips on effective gameplay, for example SirClad had an amazing recent video on how to use spells effectively that has really helped me out, and i’ve been able to practice my spell technique using the F2P games option-i still suck, but maybe a bit less now.

The ramp up in how much XP is required to level up on the path to squad league is super frustrating. I’m level 147 and at this point earning 1 level in a day takes a lot of commitment to the game.

Definitely prioritize your family over everything but like every game, squad busters will have its ups & downs. I agree they need to add more of a community element like clans and/or include easier progression through new plaza upgrades . Duos or 5v5 would be awesome with the introduction of clans. Squad busters is still relatively new & the developers are listening to what us players are saying. You have a strong voice on UA-cam so use it for good!! Appreciate your content as always
Supercell should add a squad league system similar to Clash Royale’s. Once players reach squad league, they can earn trophies, climbing tiers unlocking seasonal rewards. At the season’s start, players could either reset to ‘tier 1’ with placement matches or be placed based on their previous rank. A live top 500 ladder with rewards and badge visible in-game would also give late-game players a reason to keep playing.
To solve the late-game resource issue, they could introduce home base buildings, purchasable with hammers and ‘squad league trophies’ earned proportionately to the players’ tier at the end of a season. These buildings could provide passive boosts like faster chest ticket reloads or perks in matches, such as starting with extra coins, boots or rerolls. Only one building would be active at a time, with moderate costs to switch, and a rotating set of buildings each season to add a new layer of strategy, a new source of content, and a new discoverable meta each season which doesn’t solely lean on the latest balance change. This would also make hammers valuable again and encourage players to climb higher for better rewards.
I feel this system would bring more strategy, variety, and long-term goals to keep players engaged
Supercell is one of the most successful game developers and this is just beginning of their game. Clash of clans , clash of royals , brawl star all these are strategies based games. Squad Buster will also became as popular as these games or might be more than these games . Supercell never disappoints any one . Trust in supercell and continue Squad Buster from India 👍👍

Frankly, I'm surprised your Squad Busters coverage lasted as long as it has. How you balance Age of Emp mob, RoK and Call of Dragons after Oct 17 is a real quandary. However, dropping Squad Busters, or making it weekly, is a straightforward decision it seems to me. "Number of views" data will dictate how you prioritise, I would imagine.

Please don't quit. I always look for your content first. However I 100% agree... we need a community. Somewhere to share crazy replays etc. And do team stuff. It would make the game so much better if we had those things.
This is just how Supercell works. The same happened with Clash Royale and Brawl Stars where they slowly improve the game and introduce the purpose and community you talked about. We just have to be patient and those updates will certainly come soon!
I feel like those games had a really solid concept that made it so they could survive the early days, whereas squad busters just simply doesn't. I think the base gameplay of squad busters is not as strong as the gameplay of brawl stars nor clash royale were on release. Supercell has tried to release a lot of games that got removed partway through development for not making big enough waves. The fact that squad busters made it to global makes me think it won't be outright removed immediately, but if they don't act fast I think they will lose the majority of their player base too much. I already see a majority of players to be bots in my lobbies, when even this time last month it was almost all players.
Clash Royale is terrible, once you are maxed there is literally nothing to do except battle for some fake trophy bs. The only way to get the EVO cards is to pay money every time, such a terrible game now. IMO
well clash royale has went for the worse. not just gameplay balancing, but all those predatory shop offers and stuff
@@davidsturgeon7511 Ah I should've specified, I was talking about Clash Royale closer to release, I haven't played since around 2019. Current clash royale looks like parody of itself.

They gotta normalise double modifiers and also sometimes give us a chance to get triple modifiers. That would be really entertaining and each game becomes unique and significant.

It's getting old quick. The fun modes rarely show up. The majority of the time it's angry vines, the time mode, or Chrystal Forest. I'm constantly getting thrown in with other players who have 4 Star troops despite me not having a single one. It's ridiculous.

Since you’re kinda new to mobile / supercell games, I will tell you. Quit while you’re ahead. Don’t spend more money. Abandon this game. I play for fun. But they will always have a “Money Hungry” system for grinding and building your account. They love to make it seem like you must purchase items because if you don’t, it will be weeks, months, or even years before you can upgrade everything to the top. W video, W take, wishing for the best 4 you!!! GGZ in the Tournament you played for the other game :)
I think some good video ideas would be only drafting specific cards. For example, always pick the top card. Only draft female characters. Only draft male characters. Only draft ranged. Only draft melee. Etc. That could be fun.
There are too many pvp games,especially out there. I like that I can do this solo. I’d rather see more pve and squads working together to complete something

Chisgule I feel you 100% on this and well I started on rise of kingdoms as well and when I started it was honestly bc of you ngl and I was always on that grind with it but through time I had to take a break and haven’t returned yet but started squad busters as well bc of you lol kinda hoping on the bandwagon but I love the content you make ❤
I feel you @Chisgule. The game has a lot of potential with 5v5 Squads and some type of clan concept. The fast pace of the game is cool but they desperately need the clan chat and plaza customization to offset it. They need to add it soon, and stop kicking people out of squad league…because a lot of peeps getting bored with the game. Hopefully SC snaps out of it.

I think they could do a team variant like league of legends. Everyone can custom build their squad to fill rolls like tanks, dps, and speed for between lane ganks!
I don’t know how maxed players reach squad league after the reset. All my characters are 3 stars so atleast I can save the upgrading until the next update so I can get to squad league faster. Which in and of itself is kind of a drag because as soon as I make it to squad league, I can’t really upgrade my characters unless I want to grind away once the reset happens, to get back.
All in all, it’s become quite the grind as is. I don’t really like the randomized aspect either as especially with events like the bounty hunting one. I’ll play 20 games in an evening and never once get to the world required for the bounty. It’s really annoying. Not sure how much longer I’ll play. Currently sitting around top 200 in my locale.

For what is worth I like your content. As far as the community aspect I don't think it will be anything like what you speak of (ever). I played several super cell games. I started with clash of clans , then brawl stars and now this one. The one thing I actually like about these games is that they have some community but not that much where you can actually be a casual player. Heavily invested community games also require tons of hours on the regular (in order to develop that community) and what attracts me to super cell games the most, besides the fact that are very well built in general is that I can just pop in, play 2 games and that's that... Brawl stars has clans but they are really not good for anything.... Same thing with clash of clans.. you get some bonus and some boosts here and there but not huge hence I don't expect the community aspect here to get where you are hoping.
I enjoy your Squad Busters content and agree whole heartedly that community is needed in the game.
What if you did some games where you only choose the third card listed at every chest, or the second or the first? What if you try to win games picking the worst card available at selection.

They should separate Squad League from World Journey and make it a ranked mode with no modifiers. That way you don't have to grind for it when a new world drops.

I first started watching chisgule for his ROK game play. I used so manytips and tricks from him to get better. Lol.
I used to play those city builidng games, no skill all cash. You spend big money you will always win
I haven’t seen too many games with as much potential as Squad Busters, because the game is FUN! But the devs just can’t seem to capitalize on what makes a mobile game great in the long run.
The adrenaline boost this game gave at launch to so many players has practically dried up, in today’s world it’s so hard for video games to make a comeback once they lose that momentum.
Squad Busters has probably about 1 month left to give the community what they want in terms of clans, high stake rewards and competitive play or else this game is pretty much done and you might as well move onto something else.
You made quite a few good points in this video and super cell has the ability to add clan or as in (boom beach task force) for more of a community feel but also the long collection time is really getting redundant since I have gotten to the point of making 4 accounts just to not get bored collecting boom beach have 2 accounts and a few other of their games cause where you have to collect 34,000 toons over all to max account and then what?
They need to account the kills for more rewards or even in terms of gems. This game called squad busters for a reason right? It’s not everybody running around and collect gems that’s all. That’s gems busters then

My opinion is they def should have had a level system for the characters like clash Royale so we have the option to work on the characters we like. This tier system is brutal . Stuck on 3 stars for a year if we don’t pay. They just level off… I thoroughly love this game though and haven’t played anything else since its came out. Off topic does anyone know of a game like Sid Meirs civilization for mobile? Is that game you’re talking about in this video (city building) type of game like that? I kinda stopped playing Squad (again) due to dying hype and no hook in. Events can only lead to so much (can't wait for *that* announcement), but I need a good reason to keep playing. And despite the core gameplay being fun, I'm knida getting bored/burned out of the game due to the slow progressionof 3 to 4 stars. And I don't want to have that feeling, but it's true. Hope the Dev Team won't pull a Boom Beach and bring nothing for 4 years.
Also, Brawl Stars is too much fun. Maybe that's another reason.

Gambling implies that there's money spent for the possibility of an upside, there's not reaaaaaaally gambling in this game certainly in the same way that there is in other games.

I played squad busters since it came out but I stopped playing recently because it kinda boring when you play same again and again. I'm playing COC like 2 years but its not boring when you play it a while.

This game needs you more than you need it, thats for damn sure
I wish there were a style of playing not so intense. Like this game makes you hyper focus on the next task so you don't make any mistakes. Sure it's not hard, but after playing it for over an hour I'm tired. I start making dumb choices and lose. And again it's intense because you don't want to lose your streaks or your active doubler and it makes it more punishing to not be "hyper focused". Sometimes I don't want to play it because I don't want to play under so much pressure, you know?
That's my opinion on the game. Yeah progress it's really slow ... And yeah, no way to make friends. I play this alone...

Progression is way too slow. I've been playing since global launch, only buying the super pass, and my colt is my closest troop to max with 4 super evolutions, so I'm not even halfway to one maxed common troop.
Supercell is/ WAS a good studio but now their decisions are often swayed but the stock owners who took over. These people are going to prioritize profit over game design and they are suits who know NOTHING about video games. So the stock holders can plummet the game
