I love Mark he shows people that its alright to have fun and serve God . The joy of the Lord draws people to Jesus better than Christian that look like they just ate a lemon. There's joy in the Lord Jesus Christ
I like his never stuff too. He's gracefully aging and of course being Mark, he is laughing about it. But it seems like his newer stuff always has a nugget for the spirit along with his jokes and I think that's really enriching for people. He may have been considered a problem child by people who didn't understand him or how to deal him but he has touched so many lives and when he gets serious he has a magnificent voice.
It completely changed the Gaither Vocal Band's image as a serious Christian group. They still had their serious moments, but Mark's comedy added a new dimension and took them to a whole new level. IMO, Bill, Mark, David and Guy were the best version of the group.
The first time I was them I laughed so hard that I just watch them over and over again... I was so depressed... But when I saw this I wasn't depressed no more... So I'd just kept looking for more of them singing... I also love the song... I rather be in a dark grave. I listen to that song over and over again. They are the best I heard in a long time...
