I love these videos because I get to see many fabrics that I’ve seen on your website but hesitate to buy as I’m not sure it will work for a project I have in mind… seeing you match them to patterns is super helpful to make better fabric choices for my own projects!
Also sorry one last thing 😂 if you are able to add a “new in” section to your website some day, please do! I love the things you pick but often don’t come across them until you make a video ❤
I’ve been a fan of Simplicity patterns for years- lots of fashion with none of the fuss. When I refill my discretionary (AKA pamper yourself fund), I’ve now got some items on my shopping list😉. Merry Christmas Lucy to you and yours and thanks for the always informative and inspirational content. Love how chic you look in your dress.
I’m so hooked on all things 70’s too! I have a hard time finding flare jeans so I’m starting to search for patterns for both myself and my guy. I love the Jiffy patterns too! They keep me motivated to sew. At lastly, I am literally working on S3035 right now for a Christmas present for my sister. I’m doing the contrast set with the maxi skirt in a light pink (her favorite color) and white. And in a sweatshirt fleece. Be aware the top is 13 pieces!!! And the skirt is just 4 ! Both have pockets. The zipper I had a hard time finding one that looked like the picture. Until I found a Sports 9” zipper. That was a perfect match. A lot of straight lines. So I don’t think it will be too hard to finish. And I have a serger, yay! Wish me luck. I really want my sister to love it. It’s her style completely. 🦋
The man who designed that last pattern I love his patterns! I bought several of them for my husband recently… Could I put in a suggestion for more modern boys patterns? I wasn’t aware we can suggested things but since it appears other customers are doing so, I’m joining in 😅

Hi Lucy, great video as always. I am wondering if you made that gorgeous red dress? If so, which pattern is that?
And what fabric you used , where can we buy it
Merry Christmas Lucy and thankyou for all the youtube content throughout the year.
