For me Kobe is the GOAT. because he did it with less, he ain't the most gifted athlete physically, he doesn't jump as high as MJ and Vince, he doesn't have the big hands like MJ and Kawhi and he doesn't have the built/body like Lebron. But he maximized all his potential and convert his talents to skills.. his legacy is even greater because of his mentality to never give up and work hard to achieve your dream. Respect!
Kobe didn't need all of that, the muscles like Lebron would only slow him down, jumping as high as M.J. he did not need to jump that high to get the results he needed, having the big hands like M.J. and Vince he didn't need either because as you stated he knew how to maximize what God blessed him with and not only that he wasn't afraid to show you or anyone what he was working with. He went on to be just what he wanted to be the GREATEST PLAYER EVER IN BASKETBALL AND NOT ONLY THAT A LEGEND WITH 2 JERSEYS HANGING IN THE RAFTS OF THE LAKERS #8 and #24. Kobe is in a class all by himself whenever you look it that way. He was a man always on a mission and he knew it would take hard work to accomplish the things that he did on the court and off the court. That's why he is and always will be a true Champion because he knew how to win at this thing called "life" M.J. was his mentor, but Kobe passed him on so many levels and there is no comparison between Kobe and any one of these players you are talking about. I would have Kobe on my team any day than any of those players, he trained the hardest and stay at for 20 yrs, and just look at his accomplishments. Oh, before I forget he is in the Hall Of Fame. So "fancy pants show me what you're working with,"
LeBron worked for that body/built. He wasn’t born like that. He was also very skinny and didn’t have much muscle to start. Anyways, hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard ✊🏻
Been starting to make these Kobe videos apart of my morning routine and while I work out. And it’s definitely helped me improve my mental mind state drastically. Appreciate you KOBE. 🙏🏽
How much more successful this year are you now than you were way back then? And I'm so proud of you. I watch 90% Kobe since that fateful day in Calabasas. I am now the black mamba of wall street
bro me too... I remember as a kid I never watched basketball much but knew of all the top players, now In college ive fallen in love with basketball and man do I wish I could've loved it this much when kobe was playing. hes my favorite player, and that says a lot cause im a bucks fan and with Giannis balling now it would be him, but kobes mindset and passion are something else.
Well he may not be the GOAT but no one can say he quit at any point of his career coz of his competitiveness is insane even Phil Jackson mentioned that comparing to MJ. Just imagine he got lebron built with his skills is deadly. Same goes to AI, imagine he got Kobe built, he’ll be unstoppable too... Lebron is just gifted with size n passing ability .. we should compare lebron to magic n not MJ/Kobe
When u talk about Kobe, it’s never just about the stats, the champs, the scores etc. U are feeling and experiencing something more U can even feel there’s a path open before u and allow u to follow. The path to greatness. The path to work hard and push u to the limit And u know u can be something special if u follow the lead Kobe is not just about basketball. It’s life changing
Truly the last of a dying breed. I miss his fire and intensity. Today’s league is sorely lacking the competitive edge that was present even three years ago. Thank you for this wonderful edit.
the large contracts are pacifiers, the nba could be a monsterous league if the players all went as hard as kobe. basketball allows the level of competition other sports cant afford. there's no reason for them not to drive deeper, and the sincerely goes for society as a whole.
Eric Lee Kobe was truly a kind of dirty player or played at the absolute limits of the game. He did everythng to win, not dirty like doing unnecesary shit but throwing elbows etc not showing any respect and doing everything to win. He wanted to win so badly he had to be selfish and kind of an asshole at times, thats what it takes to win.
jaja In his book he talks about how he read the handbook for the refs and memorized spots where refs wouldn’t be able to see dirty things. He’s on some next level competitive shit
For some reason the part that hit me the hardest is when he said: "I did EVERY thing I possibly could, and it sounds crazy that I came up ONE short.. but honestly I'm ok with that... it just wasn't in the cards for me to get 6 or 7.. but I know I did everything possible to try and make it happen.. and I can live with that any day..."
I've been watching some of 'in the mind of kobe bryant' videos. I am a die hard fan of no. 8 and 24. And bc of that, yesterday I got 10 out of 13 shots in a game. That kind of attitude Kobe was showing in every game. I tried hard to achieve it. So did I.
So do I, my mind always remembers Kobe whenever I practice my shot alone before the pick up game comes. My defense and my offence increases overall. And I am happy I contribute more as a teammate, albeit just a pick up game. Because pick up game, IS STILL A GAME.
Kobe would be very proud of you and he would be the 1st to congratulate you, so I will congratulate you and give that much-needed pad on the back for him. Thank you, that would mean a lot to him. RIP Kobe and Gigi.

Thank you, piotrekzprod for sharing with us. We appreciate it very much. As much as we all love to see and hear Kobe's voice, it is as if he's still here with us but only in our hearts and our memories of him, also the videos he has left behind, and his videos of him with his family. Kobe time and Family time was very important to him being there for his children and enjoying the moments. Kobe was very passionate about his family and he was equally as passionate about the time he spent on the court practicing and preparing for a game. Kobe was always preparing for whatever life throws at him, and that's why he the GOAT, the LEGEND, and #Girl Dad. Thank you again for sharing Kobe's videos with us. Thank you.

Recently made All-Time starting 5 graphic. And I was shocked how many people was not agree with Kobe on this team. Completely don't understand how anyone can put him away from starting 5 of all-time. Great video by the way!
I play football/soccer. I began training when I was 15 on a lopsided pitch and made an agreement with myself that I was going to become the best. I’m 19 now and throughout school and college I was bullied for training on my own. I’ve just got myself into an academy (FES Academy) but on the last match I played a man badly fouled me and I tore my ACL. I was supposed to be going to the other side of the country this September but have to wait till next year and my surgery is due on the 11th (5 days time)...trust me, you need to have the mamba mentality...despite everything I worked for being taken away from me in an instant I will come back stronger...don’t let these so called ‘set backs’ define you and keep growing
This man is just fucking AMAZING he went beyond and became stronger and better each day Kobe your one of a kind and no other will be like you ..thank you for motivating mw to get my own shit together ...RIP to all who lost there lives may they souls find peace
There's a guy bullying me in school he said to that I can beat him I watch this video and I motivated and I beat him that's why kobe and my parents is my inspiration in basketball. :)
Lol... back then any legitimate super team needs a bigs that can dominate the paint and that was shaq nowadays the bigs need to space the floor and shoot 3’s... now it’s a different era, true point guard ain’t shit if you can’t make basket yourself lol
"I don't get five championships here without him." - Kobe comment on MJ in the last dance documentary. The Mamba mentality is the Original JORDAN Mentality🐐
@Maxwell Duran Well... Maybe... Even then, probably not by much. MJ was famous for his fanatical devotion to training. I understand Phil Jackson said Kobe trained harder than MJ, but Phil never observed MJs training sessions with Tim Grover. By the way, Tim Grover also became Kobe's trainer after MJ retired. So when Tim Grover said MJ was the hardest worker he had ever seen, I trust his judgement more.

Lol... back then any legitimate super team needs a bigs that can dominate the paint and that was shaq nowadays the bigs need to space the floor and shoot 3’s... now it’s a different era, true point guard ain’t shit if you can’t make basket yourself lol
Lou Ago 😂 now a days what a team needs to win is mamba mentality 😉
"I don't get five championships here without him." - Kobe comment on MJ in the last dance documentary. The Mamba mentality is the Original JORDAN Mentality🐐
REST IN POWER ...KING
U will always live in my heart champ...😢
Rip to the goat, inspired many
That was my first video that i watched about Kobe
Mindset and mentality above all
He is a true legend in all of our hearts
Kobe Bryant is just like Michael Jordan.
Legend R.I.P🙏🙏😪
i just admire KOBE!
Rip Kobe thank you because you made me so motivated and keep working no matter what
Mamba mentality simply means trying to be the best version of yourself
Apart from Batman never seen such a hard-working man.. RIP
RIP our hero... Long live the Mamba Mentality
Praying for better times
Words can't define KOBE bryant he is more than these all he is an inspiration. He is THE GREATEST 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
