    Bringing back the Office of Technology Assessment, would be a good move. We can all see why it would be of immense importance.
    Great interview.
    Consider building national reserves, especially when prices are low, while revving up universal recycling plans, as well.
    Another avenue to take would be establish sovereign wealth funds, at the national, state, county, or metro levels, a la, the Norway standard.
    One last point would be looking at the post mining phase process. Returning heavily mined areas to forests, lakes, parks, farms, or healthy wilderness all need to be fully engaged and penciled out from the outset. This level of assurance might require special actuaries, to help outline the requirements of action and time needed to meet set goals.
