No matter how much you like or dislike Donnie. The ability of Donnie to convey messages in a very distilled and simple manner is just marvellous. You are always captured instantly by his questions. And the question expanded into a much bigger and complex issues in the dancing world.
@@Maria_FominaMaybe inspiring but no respects from many dancers. He made R&Y WDC champions right after he became their coach, which many judges disagreed except one time out of major competitions.
@@chamcham212 I've heard in R&Y interview that they turned to Donnie when they were kind of losing inspiration and did not quite know what direction to take. Never mind the places, what matters is that he helped them to successfully continue with their dancing. If other judges disagreed, they must have been in minority. Did Donnie threaten the judges in order to place R&Y first, or what?
@@Maria_Fomina He invited only those judges who were in favor with R&Y to WDC world championships. The judges who disagreed were not minorities. If they were minorities, how M&J won all the major competitions except once against R&Y before they retired. Losing inspiration could have many different meanings. One of them could be not winning those competitions.
@@chamcham212yeah I wouldn’t say they were minorities but R&Y did have a large group of judges also calling them the best as well. Unlike the champions right before them (Bryan & Carmen) and the champions after them (Riccardo & Yulia and Troels & Ina), M&J were never consistent all 5 dances winners, they’d lose 1 or 2 of the dances and it’s been that way since R&Y hopped on the scene in 2008. They almost always lost jive and in closer to their retirement they sometimes lost ChaCha and Samba. Blackpool 2015 for instance was so close that M&J almost decided to stick around for another year to avenger their title as they feared losing to R&Y that night even though they planned on retiring specifically at that comp. So id say the judges were more split outside of WDC worlds but of course more in favor of M&J. Donnie has crazy amounts of sway in WDC Worlds so it makes since R&Y dominance there. Had WDO not been created. Donnie would have made the current top two: Dorin & Marina and Kirill & Valeria and would take both Italian couples out of the top 6.
Someone please tell Donnie to retire, as in live a life at peace outside of dance. The one thing I HATE about DanceSport is the old timey mentality of "men are frame women are picture". The men work just as much as their female partners and should NOT be discredited just because they are men. I am so sick and tired of it. There are plenty of partnerships out there where the man out-dances their female partner and THATS OKAY!!!! "Women are naturally born loosey because they HAVE TO HAVE BABIES" 7:23 -Women don't HAVE to anything.. not all woman want children. What a disgusting thing to say. So much has changed since Donnie was competing. All of the dancers, now a days, dance FAR BETTER than he ever did. It's time to make way for the new generation. Let it go Donnie. Hang it up. Also, do better on the video recording.. like c'mon YOU HAD ONE JOB!! 🤭🤷♂
Clearly you did not understand a thing from the expression "men are frame, women are picture". This says nothing about male dancers being weak. It's about dancing in a way that man shows beauty of a woman. Look at Kirill Belorukov. He is a perfect example of how NOT to do it. There is pure performance, no feelings in his dancing. He is so in love with himself, that it looks like he doesn't even need a partner. Is he a strong dancers? One of the best! And I love watching him too. It's just that sth is missing in his dancing. Donnie on the other hand always had it. Have you ever wondered why it's always nice to watch the final in professionals? It's exactly because they learn from Donnie and others like him. Plus, yes in 10 years it's possible that dancers will be better than Ricardo, Sergey or Nino. So what? They should stop teaching? I wish you all the best, especially to be a little more humble.

Donnie is unique, one and only. He's been an inspiration for lots of other dancers, including such stars as Riccardo and Yulia.

Digging the high heels
How come the video did not film the girl’s part?
because the videographer was standing among the girls))
It certainly got one part of one girl's dancing.
"feet should not look like cans of meat." the daily mantra for all dancers
Оператор не может найти правильную точку съемки, экран постоянно закрыт частью чьей-то спины
Интересно, почему? Донни сказал, что делает это (урок) не за спасибо и попросил другого человека у рать телефон

And clearly the recording was "illegal" because someone was hiding the camera from Donnie's eyes. Get a grip, man.
