    Great video Chad, I like how you built from problem to problem with examples as you did in your Orgo play-list which got me an A, counting on your brilliance again! God bless you. And to anyone watching, this man is the real deal!

    I found your channel about a week ago after being completely lost in university physics. My professor doesn't do examples in class, only teaches the theory, and he said "examples are a waste of class time since there are online resources" (I wish I was kidding lol). After hours of watching your videos, it's all making sense. Thank you! This channel is amazing

    I am studying med. I haven't touched these Physics and Chem for like 6 years after high school because of COVID and certain conditions. And now I got back to my track, I have tons of difficulties. But, all your videos truly helps me and I really wish I knew this channel back in the days in my high school. You definitely have talents in making things simple and finding out this channel is one of the best things I encountered through out my life. Thank you sincerely for all these explanations. You are my teacher and you have my respect!!

    - 14:27 Hi professor when can we not add the two masses and treat them as one? What are a some under which we can’t treat the system as one object? Thank you so much

    in the first two body pulley problem, why does the g in the mg part not equal 9.8 but just 5g or 10g for instance?

    Hi chad! for the first two body tension problem why didn't we solve for both tensions(which is tension for 6kg and 4kg) or are they the same at opposite sides, I got total tension at 60, with -24 for 6kg and 84 for 4kg making 60 in total.

      The tension in that rope between the 6kg and 4kg weight is the same all along the rope - does that answer your question? I draw that in and explain it at the 10:30 mark - same tension T value, but at the point of attachment to the 4kg block it will point right, and at the point of attachment of the 6kg block it will point left... this is how we actually create tension in a rope: hold two ends and pull in opposite directions. Hope that helps!

    For the last problem had friction been applied how would that look? Do uou have anither video to break that down by chance?

    • @ChadsPrep
      @ChadsPrep  11 місяців тому

      In that case we would just have to subtract the force of friction from the tension in the rope (due to the suspended mass) to find the net force on the block. You would need to know either the frictional force itself or the coefficient of kinetic friction for this :)
