I have additional POV.
1. We must admit that Israel air defence is way more advance and battle tested compared to ours. They have been managing hundreds of missiles on regular basis.
2. Iran vs Israel case cannot be compared to India vs Pak case. The distance bw Israel and Iran is huge. They had a lot more time to react. Plus they got support from US, Canada and Britain with their respective jets in air to shoot down drone etc. They got intelligence from all of them. We will get nothing in this. First the distance is too short. No time to react. No intelligence sharing. We will get intelli in India vs China but not in India vs Pak(I hope we all agree to this). Plus if they saturate the attack then we will be in big trouble. Though after such actions and loss, Pakistani a$$ would be killed but yeah, we are not at as high ground as Israel.
No one in world is on as high ground as Israel not even US. Reason being Israel is such a small country, they can have very high density of BMD's to safeguard per square kms. Israel is just an exception. But once these BMD's are saturated, it is most vulnerable too. That is how this is.

1. Ballistic missiles are intercepted in later stage(rather most of the missiles) because while launch we cannot make a guess. Rather we check the trajectory while it's in atmosphere. And then try to eliminate it in terminal phase or just before terminal phase.
2. There is no distance comparison. Iran is more than 2000 km away from Israel whereas Pakistan border is just just 600 km away from New Delhi (lets still keep other nearby asset aside like our Gujarat and Rajasthan air bases aside for worst case).
3. Israel had support (I literally mean military support) from US, UK, Jordan and more. We will have support from NONE.

Pakistan and India never go to full-scale war but if you are comparing the defence system of Israel with your defence system its nowhere close to Israel's defence system.
First, Iran used slow drones and the distance between Iran and Israel was long enough to intercept all of them second USA, UK, France and Jordan also destroyed many of them.
If you compare it with it with Pakistan Pakistan can use standoff weapons and cruise missile and also hit target easily because there will be not enough time to intercept all of them and the same time.
Pakistan can use rocket with 200km range and multiple at the same time and one the air defence system will show its location its easy to destroy it with anti-radiation missiles.
So comparing any with Israel defense system is not right but specially Indian system is real joke

@KetakiMalana-rs5yg So you know that rockets are very cheap if you intercept them you need better missiles which are expensive like Pakistan Fatah 2 400km range rocket launched in 100 numbers and your defence system will intercept them then Pakistan can launch aircraft with suicide drones which can destroy defence system and once the sky is clear use fighter jet and Turkish drones to strike targets So even if you have air defence it doesn't matter in full war and I know that India will attack back or if Pakistan has any air defence that will be destroyed easily by India.

😢 but you are missing one important factor here , the distance between Pakistan and India is very less as compared to Israel and Iran, while in the case of Israel and its Allies,they have plenty of time to understand the missile trajectory and missile types, it was easy for them to intercept these missiles on mid way to Israel , but this won't work out in case of India and Pakistan.

With India it's still better, If India keeps its S400 radars closer to the int border it can track the incomming missile the moment it is launched and can destroy it well within Paki territory...Also another battery of Brahmos can take out the missile launcher before it can try to move from that place...India has its own navigation satellites by whichnit can guide ,change course of missile quite easily and accurately target missiles batteries of Pak...such luxury is not there with Beggaristan and Paki rockets are based on inertial navigation system of the past century...

As my understanding, BDV has capability to intercet the missiles with the range of 5000km. BDV missile dont have range of 5000 km

If am not wrong, In order to intercept a missile of range 5000 km it is necessary for that defence missile to have a range of 5000km.

Based on that assumptive trajectory, a interceptor has been fired with range of not more than 150km.
The best missles interceptor currently in THAAD and even that don't provide range of 5000 km.

THAAD system hits a missile in is terminal phase whereas pdv designed to hit a missile as far as its boost phase and midcourse that's why its essential for our system to have a large range. and also i am only telling what I know, so correct me if am wrong.

Our reaction time will be very short and in case of saturation attack, any missile defence system can fail, even 1 failure can have massive issues. The distance from Pak to India is very short, response systems in India won't be having much time, error margin has to be very short.
They don't have no-first strike policy, if they use the option, then a strong response will ne delivered, the question is will they take the chance?
So best way is to discourage them from using it. Just like how Iran was discouraged from using its actually force, which if was used, would had invited much stronger response, on its door, making war inevitable, (which iran also doesn't want).
Pak must stay away from these conflicts, as they are increasingly becoming irrelevant in world affairs.
