Wow this is just incredible news that I've been able to help with your decision to move to beautiful Tasmania. I'm so blessed, thank you for sharing your comment has made my day.
@@warrenconnors5481 Thank you so much for sharing my video:) Deloranie is such a beautiful place, thank you for reccomneding it. I'll be sure to plan a trip there soon to film the area 😍
Thanks for the tour of your town, bloody nice. I stumbled across Burnie by trying to decide which University of Tasmania campus I would move to. Followed the Uni links and discovered what IMHO would be another piece of God's country in Aussie. Have lived in QLD, ACT, NSW, SA, and the U.K., and now to roost somewhere beaut.
How's the wind feel like in Devonport and Burnie? Does it reach to 100+km/hour speed? I lived in Wellington New Zealand before. Just feel it is similar due to approximate latitude.
Hello Steven, thank you for your comment. We would never reach 100km/hr. Yes we get wind here on the North West, we live right by the ocean and our bad weather comes from the south west. The ocean controls our weather. It's beautiful weather 95% of the time and the wind is very minimum
Makers workshop permanently closed, Burnie art gallery temporarily closed, Burnie museum temporarily closed. Burnie does make a good base for travel to other parts of the state Stanley etc but you don't need to spend a lot of time there. Burnie once upon a time had a population of around 28000 and was declared a city it eventually lost that status and now only has around 18000. Burnie along with the rest of the North West has Tasmanias highest youth unemployment. Cheap place to retire nice houses overlooking Bass strait can be bought for a good price but not a good place if you are looking for work unless you are a Doctor or a nurse or some other sought after occupation. Tasmanian wages are generally lower than the rest of the country.
Love Burnie!!!!
I like how the council have incorporated old fashioned railings on Wilson Street. I love Burnie, my home town.
Is it true that the citizens of burnie get everything from the government ?
We watched this video before moving from Qld to Burnie.
Spent a year there in Brooklyn and loved it.
Cheers for video

@@warrenconnors5481 That's incredible! Would you like to recommend any video of Burnie or anywhere else in Tassie you'd love to see on my channel?😊

Yes we've shared it around to friends in Qld.
We're near Deloraine so a video of there would be great thanks.

Great video, Siena!
Thank you very much! What did you like most about it?
I loved seeing down the streets of the town. A lot of videos just stick to the beach. I love seeing the different shops etc.
@@alipage3496 Yeah that's good! I knew there weren't many videos that showed the shops etc so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I live close to hear this is a good place and I think people would like it
Thank you!
During the days when it used to rain.
Cheers Siena 😊👏👏✨🦋💙
