In my own opinion, TWICE really deserve the ‘Artist Of The Year’ title this year. They have a lot of releases this year. Kura Kura, Alcohol Free, The Feels, Perfect World, Scientist and Doughnut. Also they achieved a lot of achievements and ranked high in billboards. They also never failed to give us a lot of fun contents. They spoiled ONCEs so much, I hope all of us will work harder on streaming and voting for them too.

I got many health issues this year. I might have a severe autoimmune disease and got into TWICE this year. TWICE has made my days full of light, color and positivity with their music and personalities. I literally can't imagine going through this year without TWICE.

not sure about its success, but i agree that this is really well done! i do find that they’re bolder with their japanese concepts than their korean ones and their risk of doing a slower and more unique (90’s ballad style) concept paid off bc of the vocals and arrangement! i’m hoping we get a similar retro but refined concept in their korean comeback this august. i think that’s how they’ll set themselves apart.
Ikr! I remember being obsessed with it when it came out. I was disappointed because it was so slow to gain views. This gives off retro-melancholic-winter song vibes, very different from the usual Christmas/winter songs of kpop groups that are upbeat and cute. The whole mv is so alluring, and the choreo!! I still can’t get over how soft and delicate it is.

And this is really intented for japanese audience which made up the 2nd largest music industry next to USA. So whether fans hype it or not, given Twice's impact in Japan, this kind of releases will never fall into the category of underrated as it is a hit in Japan.

This is literally one of their best songs EVER I just don't get why it's not talked about. Does anyone know if this song was popular in Japan when it came out, and if it blew up anywhere else in the world? The arrangement, the visuals, vocals, everything! I just think it was all perfectly done. And for me, Jihyo and Mina really shine in this one ✨️
not sure about its success, but i agree that this is really well done! i do find that they’re bolder with their japanese concepts than their korean ones and their risk of doing a slower and more unique (90’s ballad style) concept paid off bc of the vocals and arrangement! i’m hoping we get a similar retro but refined concept in their korean comeback this august. i think that’s how they’ll set themselves apart.

This gives off retro-melancholic-winter song vibes, very different from the usual Christmas/winter songs of kpop groups that are upbeat and cute. The whole mv is so alluring, and the choreo!! I still can’t get over how soft and delicate it is.

International fans aren't hyping j-comebacks much as korean comebacks bc they aren't promoted, albums and merchs are only available in japan. And this is really intented for japanese audience which made up the 2nd largest music industry next to USA. So whether fans hype it or not, given Twice's impact in Japan, this kind of releases will never fall into the category of underrated as it is a hit in Japan.
