Goodbye Iran (Mr. Taster's last day in Tehran) Immigration is always very difficult, especially when you have to say goodbye to your family and loved ones and those who have supported you all these years. With a heart full of pain and tearful eyes, we left this beautiful country with exceptional people and came to the UAE.
On the last day I took you along on my personal and work life, which was very emotional for me, from the house I lived in for years to my company, which was very difficult to part with. I made my decision to move six months ago, and realized is that not only are we not supported to introduce Iranian food, but they constantly create problems for us so that we cannot work. I hope you'll like this video

The man who raised me is from Iran. He has taught me so much about Iran. The language, culture, and food. I have always been closer to him then my biological dad who isnt in my life much. Thank you Mr.Taster for showing how wonderful the Persian culture, food and archtecture is. You showed so many great places and food that I never knew existed in Iran which is my mother's homeland. I was born in Sweden and my parents come from Iran. This video, especially your intro, really captures the pride of Iran inside your heart! I cant image to leave my country like that, I can tell that its extremly difficult for you.
I want to thank you so far for showing us iranian food culture. It brings back memories from visiting Iran as a child but also kindles hope to visit again one day.
I imagine that this is how my parents felt when they emigrated years ahead of the revolution, and your tears made me weep aswell...

I became acquainted with your amazing food videos about two and a half years ago, when everyone got locked up due to COVID. I am an American from California, who thought I was an expert on Iranian, Arabic/Levant food. I developed a taste for such dishes when I lived in Los Angeles/Glendale in the 1980s and early 1990s. I prepare Iranian food at home on occasion (Ghormeh Sabzeh, Koobideh, Shrazi Salad and Kebab Torsh). I have a good number of Iranian friends, and many Iranians businesspeople I have dealt with in my career path. Iranians are probably the most kind, hospitable, cultured and good-looking people on the planet.
Thanks to you, I found out about many Persian dishes I had previously never heard of. You succeeded to break down cuisine by region within Iran. You are a true ambassador by showing Persian cuisine, hospitality, culture and kindness to the planet.
I wish you and your loved ones the best in Dubai. It is beautiful there. But I hope you can return to Iran soon. I can tell you and your family have some very serious emotional attachment to your beautiful country and people. It is a beautiful thing.
I hope to visit Iran someday. I would like to take you and your Mrs. to dinner. Stay positive and safe. God bless you and yours, Hamid.

It really hurts to leave your home, family, friends and country. At least you can go back. When we fled our country due to war, the doors were closed. When we went to other nations we faced mistreatment, racism and hatred. Now whenever I come across immigrants I treat them with kindness. Because You Never Know when the tables would turn again.

It's sad to leave home but this was a bit dramatic and a magestic farewell for a move cross the Persian Gulf. Hope you find joy and luck in your future endevors in Dubai. Many of us abandoned Iran, with no hope or possiblity to come back home some day. No parties were thrown or remembered by any. Happy you were not one of them.
