Nothing can ever recreate the pure magic that was Far Cry 3 on a high end gaming PC on maxed out settings. I used to rush home from work to smoke a bowl and play everyday. One of the funnest video games of all time.
I love Far Cry 6! I spent the first 25-30 hours grinding to get all of the clothes, weapons, vehicles upgrades…then started the different story modes for each region! I’m 80+ hours in and still haven’t got to the “El Presidente” ending mission! There’s sooo much stuff to do! FC5 is special because my wife and I started and finished the game together in co op for both of our accounts on PS4…I play FC 6 on ps5
Glad you and your wife enjoyed Far Cry 5! Makes me a little sad my ex used to watch me play it 😞 It’s probably my favorite one (besides classic 3) because of the Seed family I loved the villains… I always hoped for a far cry based in Latino America considering I’m from there. I still feel it lacked a lot on the story/antagonist side but I’m now giving it another try and 100 percent focusing and you know dissecting and taste every aspect of it!
for me FarCry 5 was the best. the enviroment, vibe and charicters in the game made it an absoulte joy to experience. still one of my favorite games to go back too.
The game is fun, but also crazy. It's one of those games that wants to be realistic, but then half way through trying to make realistic ebvironments, hit controls, vehicles, etc., they said fuck it. Give them an alligator for a companion. Because alligators are totally pets that follow attack commands.
Yeah it is fun, FC3 is crazier And I doubt it wants to be realistic, it's Far Cry 2 that wants to be realistic (with how fire actually spreads, plausible weapons in a African setting, weapon durability/degradation, companion permadeath, no minimap but rather actual maps and a GPS, etc.)
I loved the first FarCry. Back in 2004 (I think it was) the graphics were so far beyond what we had seen before. It really left one hell of an impression on everyone. The online game play was fantastic at first but quickly became bori g and repetitive. Still one of my favorite franchises ever. I had fun with 6 but like the rest they end up not being challenging during the second half of the playthrough. I'll always be a fan of the series tho
The whole Far cry series is just amazing the graphics are gorgeous and the game play is totally immersive. Time to get a PS4 OR PS5.!! My friend wants his back. 🤣🤣
Its a good game yea maybe not as great as its past iterations but just as good i love the large open world the weapon customisation ig the only thing i dislike about it is that you dont really get to kill the villans yourself
Bought this game very recently. Needed space on my PS5 and this was the first to go. I'll finish some other day. It's not that great at all. Kinda shocked me how stupid some of the mechanics were and I hardly criticize videos games. I was hiding in bushes multiple times and the enemy sees me, I crouch in some flowers that dont feel remotely safe or anything and you can walk right passed them.
The enemies in FC6 have no peripheral vision and only see 2ft Infront of them but if you make any noise they are the most sensitive Humans on the planet
FC5 looks better honestly, this seem to look better cuz its tropical location, but if you look closely and compare you will see that even characters models were higher quality in FC5, they were clever to add a lot of post processing effects to hide it.

Well the game offers, mostly the same gameplay like the games before just different story, i am verry board because the games are the same only different story, they add small amount of new things and that's it. Like most shooter games. I played 60 shooters and more, and maybe like 10 games to be with ton of things and to be with good story mode and online mode.
I am a fc fanatic and graphics & gameplay is not bad in this game, but story and characters are! I have played all previous fc games multiple times but i never played this game more than once. I think devs need to work on story more, maybe make it zombie apocalypse shooter or alien shooter like stranger things crossover mission.

Bro this game has a lot more things hidden after you finish it I have it since release took me 3 weeks to finish it because i always go roaming for hours and now i started playing it 3 days ago and theres a lot of new stuff i ve uncovered
So the story behind the guy on 05:15 is, his Mother is a secretery of one Laundry factory for the soldiers she don´t like the regime but she got forced into it. She helps as much as she can and also is taking notes about the factory so if she finds the right time the notes can be shared with a revolution to tear the regime down. so basicly 5:15 is her son getting the job patrolling the fence. he is 17 and it is his first day.
I clicked this video and guessed it would be a mission involving being quiet, sneaking around and killing enemies to liberate an area. Why was I right? Because that's the mission in every single Ubisoft game, in every single chapter of every single series. Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon, Far Cry. All the same game, different characters & different end goals. But all the exact same game. Prove I'm wrong.
I played it. Just looks good on the outside. I'm sure someone who started far cry with this game would have loved it but for me it was far cry 3 reskin. Doesn't even hold a candle to something like red dead redemption 2(now that's a real open world game.)

People return to a franchise in the hopes that they would get to experience the same core gameplay with a new setting and a new story. If Far Cry changed its core gameplay would it be Far Cry? If GTA changed its core gameplay would it still be GTA? By your logic, GTA, mortal Kombat, Bayonetta, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Bioshock, Doom, Mass Effect, Borderlands, Gears of War and Tekken are all reskins of previous games in the same franchise.
I'm near to crying, for years I had to play 1080 medium quality or low to be able to have 30 fps and now I ordered a laptop with rtx 4080, ryzen 9745x, 32go pf DDR5. I can't wait to play it!!!
I'm one of the rare few who enjoyed it. While some trophies are tedious, I wouldn't call this game boring. I got 88% completion in 50 hours so I was in the zone! (for me that's really good)
This game is far from being the best in the franchise. But it’s still a lot of fun to play. Tons of guns and vehicles to grind for and unlock. And let’s be honest, that flying car is a blast 😂

People are freaking weird... when FC5 came out a lot of people complained and called it the worst game of the series... Now FC6 is considered the worst, and FC5 is considered one of the best FC games.
I was disappointed with it however yes it does look very pretty. Farcry 4 is the best and I really liked 3, 5 and Primal. I did welcome back the mini map in 6. Is it possible to get the last two anti aircraft guns in 6?
Nah, those are permanently fixed in the city. It's a bit ridiculous that you overthrow the tyrant and his army, but the city is still incredibly restricted
Far cry 4 is still my favorite for story wise. I actually like Far cry 2 the best for game play. I thought I would like 5, but really the story sucked and flying was probably the best thing in the game. I probably beat Far cry 4 about five times and would still play it again. Maybe three times on the 2nd Far cry. I only beat the fifth once and it was super hard to get me to play it again. Third was pretty good, but I still believe thay 4 was definitely better. Not many DLC's I would write home about. New dawn really sucked and was extremely short. They didn't even try tbh. Though the expedition missions were a home run and really wished they kept with that idea.
@@Soundsofthewood I was so disappointed with New Dawn. Just the fact that it didn't have NewGame+ really annoyed me. It should have been the one big DLC for FC5, so they could focus on one DLC as opposed to three small ones (Which I don't really remember much of, to be honest). It was pretty overpriced for a standalone game. I loved the expeditions as well. The base capturing system was fun, with the higher difficulties reaping higher rewards. I just wish the game would have highlighted more what Joseph did to Rook to make him the Judge. I know Joseph mentally broke Rook, but I'd love to know how he did it. One thing that FC5 had going for it though, it was full of easter eggs, which was awesome. It was a shame they never let you revisit Jacob's sanitarium and explore without having to glitch into it
It’s little improved because it went from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second. You can’t have Both a huge fps increase while also increasing the graphics a ton
You must be horifically injured in the brain and the eye. The difference between facial animations of FC 6 and 5 are night and day with 6 being better. FC 6 is also more detailed with higher fidelity textures, complex geometry and facial animations. Not to mention detailed dense foilage. Think before speaking
@@maxpayne9139 First, don't insult me man, I said that there are graphical improvements compared to FC5, and the environment looks better because the location is more exotic, and first I mean NPCs- army of Castilo and their animations, especially when you kill them with a machete, not the main characters, and the main characters look kind of unnatural, like in a cartoon movie, it's essentially the same engine as in FC5. Also while moving in FC6 through the leaves there is no animation or it is poorly done (console version), it is better in fc4😁😁😁
Graphics wise I do think Far Cry 6 got an upgrade. The story though honestly was kinda underwhelming. If you had these graphics in Far Cry 5 I’d say that would be a banger.

I recently bought a higher end PC. It almost feels like the textures are so defined that you can see the lack of depth that should be more apparent. It's nice though. A good example is how good the water looks when the character is swimming, but just look at the rocks before entering the water.
Interesting how NOTHING on the new consoles looks groundbreaking in anyway. For the first time there is ZERO leap in visuals from last gen to now. The only difference is the framerate is smooth

amazing gameplay. but there are 2 big flaws 1: you never use crosshairs in a farcry game 2: the mini map is only allowed in the end game and the UI must be put to a minimum. detection meters are cool
everyone says that this game is bad, and in some points yes, because the story is not so good, but it is the most fun with lots of weapons and a big open world. my favorite is far cry 5, as much as it has bugs, it was the one in my opinion that had the best story. and i always thought far cry 3 was overrated. Edit: nah, far cry 3 is the best.
You should definitely try again. Imo Far cry 6 has the best open world in entire series. But people always love following a hate train. They hated 4, 5 parts and now they call them one of the best. They will tell the same thing about 6 couple years later

@@sayckeone That's great news. I kinda grew up playing operation flashpoint with no hud, adjusting my watch to game time and using the bezel to count the mags used. Bit like Michael Schumacher who had a casio stopwatch glued to his steering wheel un his benetton days haha
the game is okay, worth the playthrough for me, but far too easy on the hardest setting and a bit dull visually for a 2022 game. Seems most AAA studios are perfectly happy using their older engines still.
I play far cry 6 on a RTX 3080 and that is true native 4K. I can tell you hands down. The PS5 is not running anywhere near real 4K 🤦🏻♂️ marketing is crazy got people thinking their $500 console is doing real 4k lol And that's comparing it side by side on my PS5 with my OLED TV. Still don't look as good.
@@ghostlegitumm dynamic 4K that sits it like just above 1440p most the time and definitely not ultra settings, maybe medium. And the lack of ray tracing also impacts the game.
I guess if graphic s are all that matters to you, then site, maybe the game is decent. if you're at all like me, Gameplay trumps graphics everytime, and ubisoft is all graphics and shit Gameplay. all their games are the same, handholding the kiddos through the game.
Tried this game because of the free weekend and so far its really fun, very similar to far cry 5 which is not bad at all, but it seems a little grindy and the rpg like mechanic is something i have to adjust too. I am only 5 hours into the game so is it worth it?

@@szpip1564 I have played the game and RDR 2's mission design is objectively bad. RDR 2's mission objectives are too specific to allow for any freedom or strategy. This is one of the objectives in the game:- "pour moonshine on the ground". How is that an inetlligent objective? A 3 year old can play RDR 2 because there is nothing complex about "pouring moonshine on the ground". "Follow the yellow line", "pour moonshine on the ground", "take cover", "hide in that area", "detonate the bomb", "plant the charges" etc. Tell me what is so complex about this mission design. This game hates thinking and people like you hate thinking too. You like this game because it tells you an emotional sob story about a man dying with TB. You dont care about gameplay. Video games are art, first and foremost, because of gameplay. Good gameplay design should let you interact with the world in main missions without linearity. RDR 2 is made for children who find thinking hard. Tell me why are you so opposed to thinking? Why do you hate thinking? How much must you hate gameplay in video games to actually think RDR 2 is a good game? Is this the end of video games?
Far cry 3 was hands down the best. FC 2 was amazing for the time and I lost many long nights of my life getting immersed in one of the first open world FPS games ever made. FC5 was excellent to, but only takes the silver medal for me. This looks suuuper easy. Colors aren't very vibrant either. Enemy detection is so gaddam SLOWWWW. Thankfully, these things can be overcome pretty easily. For 15$ on steam its a steal man

Yeah but it lacked enemies and huge forts like 4 had. Outposts were small. If they added more enemies and huge fortresses, it would be best farcry.

I clicked this video and guessed it would be a mission involving being quiet, sneaking around and killing enemies to liberate an area. Why was I right? Because that's the mission in every single Ubisoft game, in every single chapter of every single series. Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon, Far Cry. All the same game, different characters & different end goals. But all the exact same game. Prove I'm wrong.
I played it. Just looks good on the outside. I'm sure someone who started far cry with this game would have loved it but for me it was far cry 3 reskin. Doesn't even hold a candle to something like red dead redemption 2(now that's a real open world game.)

People return to a franchise in the hopes that they would get to experience the same core gameplay with a new setting and a new story. If Far Cry changed its core gameplay would it be Far Cry? If GTA changed its core gameplay would it still be GTA? By your logic, GTA, mortal Kombat, Bayonetta, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Bioshock, Doom, Mass Effect, Borderlands, Gears of War and Tekken are all reskins of previous games in the same franchise.

I'm one of the rare few who enjoyed it. While some trophies are tedious, I wouldn't call this game boring. I got 88% completion in 50 hours so I was in the zone! (for me that's really good)

This game is far from being the best in the franchise. But it’s still a lot of fun to play. Tons of guns and vehicles to grind for and unlock. And let’s be honest, that flying car is a blast 😂

I was disappointed with it however yes it does look very pretty. Farcry 4 is the best and I really liked 3, 5 and Primal. I did welcome back the mini map in 6. Is it possible to get the last two anti aircraft guns in 6?
Nah, those are permanently fixed in the city. It's a bit ridiculous that you overthrow the tyrant and his army, but the city is still incredibly restricted

I actually like Far cry 2 the best for game play.
I thought I would like 5, but really the story sucked and flying was probably the best thing in the game.
I probably beat Far cry 4 about five times and would still play it again.
Maybe three times on the 2nd Far cry.
I only beat the fifth once and it was super hard to get me to play it again.
Third was pretty good, but I still believe thay 4 was definitely better.
Not many DLC's I would write home about.
New dawn really sucked and was extremely short.
They didn't even try tbh.
Though the expedition missions were a home run and really wished they kept with that idea.

It should have been the one big DLC for FC5, so they could focus on one DLC as opposed to three small ones (Which I don't really remember much of, to be honest). It was pretty overpriced for a standalone game.
I loved the expeditions as well. The base capturing system was fun, with the higher difficulties reaping higher rewards. I just wish the game would have highlighted more what Joseph did to Rook to make him the Judge. I know Joseph mentally broke Rook, but I'd love to know how he did it.
One thing that FC5 had going for it though, it was full of easter eggs, which was awesome. It was a shame they never let you revisit Jacob's sanitarium and explore without having to glitch into it

It’s little improved because it went from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second. You can’t have Both a huge fps increase while also increasing the graphics a ton
You must be horifically injured in the brain and the eye. The difference between facial animations of FC 6 and 5 are night and day with 6 being better. FC 6 is also more detailed with higher fidelity textures, complex geometry and facial animations. Not to mention detailed dense foilage. Think before speaking
@@maxpayne9139 First, don't insult me man, I said that there are graphical improvements compared to FC5, and the environment looks better because the location is more exotic, and first I mean NPCs- army of Castilo and their animations, especially when you kill them with a machete, not the main characters, and the main characters look kind of unnatural, like in a cartoon movie, it's essentially the same engine as in FC5. Also while moving in FC6 through the leaves there is no animation or it is poorly done (console version), it is better in fc4😁😁😁

Graphics wise I do think Far Cry 6 got an upgrade. The story though honestly was kinda underwhelming. If you had these graphics in Far Cry 5 I’d say that would be a banger.
Find a little dull also, I had so much fun in FC5 with a friend. The world seems empty in FC6.

I recently bought a higher end PC. It almost feels like the textures are so defined that you can see the lack of depth that should be more apparent. It's nice though. A good example is how good the water looks when the character is swimming, but just look at the rocks before entering the water.

What capture card do you utilize for your content? I try to capture HDR on my Elgato HD60 S+ and the colors always looks way too vibrant or overblown.
You dont need any capture card. Nvidia screen record handles it all

amazing gameplay. but there are 2 big flaws
1: you never use crosshairs in a farcry game
2: the mini map is only allowed in the end game and the UI must be put to a minimum. detection meters are cool

the game is okay, worth the playthrough for me, but far too easy on the hardest setting and a bit dull visually for a 2022 game. Seems most AAA studios are perfectly happy using their older engines still.

I play far cry 6 on a RTX 3080 and that is true native 4K. I can tell you hands down. The PS5 is not running anywhere near real 4K 🤦🏻♂️ marketing is crazy got people thinking their $500 console is doing real 4k lol And that's comparing it side by side on my PS5 with my OLED TV. Still don't look as good.

Tried this game because of the free weekend and so far its really fun, very similar to far cry 5 which is not bad at all, but it seems a little grindy and the rpg like mechanic is something i have to adjust too. I am only 5 hours into the game so is it worth it?
i spend like 15 hours and is a very good game, also is just a farcry 5. cuba dlc, have new mechanics like the horses and a fcking dog in wheelchair called chorizo (also Gus from breaking bad)

I have played the game and RDR 2's mission design is objectively bad. RDR 2's mission objectives are too specific to allow for any freedom or strategy. This is one of the objectives in the game:- "pour moonshine on the ground". How is that an inetlligent objective? A 3 year old can play RDR 2 because there is nothing complex about "pouring moonshine on the ground". "Follow the yellow line", "pour moonshine on the ground", "take cover", "hide in that area", "detonate the bomb", "plant the charges" etc. Tell me what is so complex about this mission design. This game hates thinking and people like you hate thinking too. You like this game because it tells you an emotional sob story about a man dying with TB. You dont care about gameplay. Video games are art, first and foremost, because of gameplay. Good gameplay design should let you interact with the world in main missions without linearity. RDR 2 is made for children who find thinking hard. Tell me why are you so opposed to thinking? Why do you hate thinking? How much must you hate gameplay in video games to actually think RDR 2 is a good game? Is this the end of video games?

Far cry 3 was hands down the best. FC 2 was amazing for the time and I lost many long nights of my life getting immersed in one of the first open world FPS games ever made. FC5 was excellent to, but only takes the silver medal for me.
This looks suuuper easy. Colors aren't very vibrant either. Enemy detection is so gaddam SLOWWWW. Thankfully, these things can be overcome pretty easily. For 15$ on steam its a steal man
