Oh jeez, this season was spectacular! Heartbreaking and moving, very much, yes, but there is no better way I imagined the series could have ended. The devil himself has finally found his path, he loves and is loved back, he now gives his existence a purpose. He found redemption for his sins and guilt and if even the devil did, then there is hope for everyone
It was definitely heartbreaking. I just wish they had at least shown Lucifer visiting his family on Earth like Amenadiel did. It was too sad.... Lucifer already went through hell 1,000s of years in his time without Chloe and it happened again. :(
@@knightvision1228 I like to think that Rory was the one who went visit. On Chloe's deathbed, she reminded her mum she's an angel, so most likely Rory flies back and forth
@@knightvision1228 maybe he did visit Chloe from time to time, he only had to make sure that Rory did not see him , because staying in Rory´s life or visiting her would have changed her personality. She asked to "Don´t change me" and he promised it. He respected her free choice/will to stay the same person she was/is.He and Chloe did it out of love for their daughter. Parents sacrifice much for their children.
Otherwise there would be an other Rory but not the one Rory they met and already love. +Lucifer hated to be in hell when he thought that he is punished and that he has to punish but now he can help these souls like Dan or Mr Saidoutbitch and he is happy with it.+Now after Chloe´s death he can take Chloe with him when he visites heaven or earth.+Maybe he visited earth even before Chloe´s death , only Rory had not to see him.
A magnificent video! The ending was bittersweet but so perfect for them. Deckerstar truly will never be parted again and for that am glad.❤️🥲

I always love your videos, but this one, in particular, was so heartbreakingly sad & emotional thru both the editing & the music, I’m still sort of crying. I’ve never heard that version of Time in a Bottle but it was, clearly, the most emotionally evocative version & thus not at all surprising that you would be aware of it and use it in a video. You are an artiste! Never stop using your craft. It’s a gift to the world and I’m so very glad you share it w the Lucifer community!! 🥺😢😈🥰🥰

I’m glad this show got the ending it deserves. What an incredible story and your videos always do great at showing that. The scene that really got me was when they played “Don’t Let Me Go” by Cigarettes After Sex. I’d love to see a video with that song.

BUT: I am really angry on several points about how the writers ended the story:
1. we have watched over the years and seasons, how Lucifer dealt with all his issues, how difficult it was for him to get through all of them - and now in the end, when he survived all of it, he has to go back to HELL, to the place he hates the most - and yes I know “everything for a greater good” - but really???
2. Chloe has to be a single mom - just as her mom had to be - without the man she loves more than anything in the world - just like her mum had to…..
3. Rory is going to hate her absent father during all her childhood and teen years - just like Lucifer hated his absent father for eons
4. AND: Trixie has to deal not only with the current death of her father - like her mother had to with her dad - but also with the suddenly absent Lucifer, whom she loves dearly. How will she be able to trust any man in her future life?
For me all the issues which Chloe and Lucifer had to deal with in their lifes were just put up to a higher level for their girls - that’s unfair, not to say unjust…
Sorry for this outburst, but that is what I’m dealing with according to the ending of s6…..
Thank you. ❤️❤️ I honestly was really disappointed in the ending too and season 6 in general. Lucifer should have been able to see his family like Amenadiel did. There was just so much heartbreak. I didn't care for the whole time travel thing either. Definitely not enough Trixie at all. I would have loved to see her discover he is the actual devil rather than focus so much on Rory. Deckerstar deserved more happiness... sigh.
@@knightvision1228 I am so relieved that even you, who did and does all these beautiful edits of "Lucifer", are disappointed of this last season. When I read the comments under so many of the new S6 edits ( beautiful, bittersweet, the ending they deserved) I thought whether I am the only one who don't see it this way...
And beside my other points I totally agree that there is by far not enough Trixie - time in S6. From the moment Rory appears, to me it looks like Trixie doesn't matter anymore in the story of Lucifer and Chloe - they don't include her in their future... so yes - and I'm sorry to say this: definitely not the ending of this wonderful story/series that I am satisfied with - and I don't need a "Disney" like "happily ever after"....
Yes, I agree with you completely. I haven't said much on social media about it. I will always respect the showrunners, but I am very disappointed in what they did to Lucifer and Chloe (and poor Trixie and please don't blame it on covid, though it definitely hurt this final season). I missed Lucifer's fun interactions with Trixie. It was all about Rory and I honestly didn't care much for her. I never like it when tv shows bring in kids or babies. I would have rather seen Lucifer and Chloe battle different supernatural elements. I would have loved more "wing romance." The throne kiss was beautiful though. Even the prayers gone wrong could have been a great storyline. They didn't really have a villain until the final 2 episodes. I never thought Lucifer should turn into his dad becoming God, but it's sad he's back in hell. Earth was his home with Chloe... I wanted to love this final season so badly. My entire family was so disappointed in it.
@@knightvision1228 yes, I just thought there was something going on with you, because since I follow you here on YT you release a first edit of a new season at least three or four days after the airing and this time it took you a whole week...
And just to point it out clearly: I love this show in general, I love the cast - in some scenes it took my breath away how intense they performed - and I really got the intention of the whole crew being a family who work for the same goal as is to do everything to get the best series possible...
But maybe it would have been better to finish it with S5b (with the ending they had in mind before the offer of a S6 came around), allthough everybody - me too - was exited to get an additional season then..
So, be careful what you wish for...
Being the final season I tried to take my time watching it and savoring every moment, so I didn't finish it until Monday and then I just had to truly absorb all of what happened. It was easy releasing videos quickly after the weekly fox broadcasts, but with netflix dropping 8-10 episodes at once it takes a lot longer to go through and organize footage. I didn't feel as excited to make one after this season... I felt like I was in mourning, but I'm going to try to go back and rewatch what I did enjoy. I did love the romantic moments and "Goodbye Lucifer" was an amazing episode. I always loved Chris Rafferty's work.

I still perfectly remember the vid that brought me to you - Lucifer | Echo. I still go and watch it from time to time, and I still tear up.
It would be really awesome if you made a tribute/farewell video where we see how Lucifer grows all the way from the beginning to the end, but that's just an idea.

Thank you... that means a lot. I wanted to love the ending so badly, but it was just too heartbreaking. They deserved so much better. There were so many times Lucifer said the only place he felt wanted and respected was there with humanity on earth. That was his home.

Wow Kristin you can tell much better than the series editing itself,I am quite impresif with yours and I just can't get it till today why the writer make a plot twist in Rory case,rather than push deep down about Triexie as we knew have quite important in DeckerStar relationship from S1-S5,it is make many fans not understand too,if you follow many issue in FB,so once more well done my dear. ❤️

@@knightvision1228 I was crying during their farewell scene and was relieved at the end. But honestly I think that they couldn't end another way. Couple like theirs is not ordinary and not "normal" as for couple standards. They are amazing and incredible and couldn't live normal happy life. Their love is truly selfless and pure and always needs sacrifice one or other way. So I think that was perfect ending for them 💖

I didn’t have that much trouble with time travel.
But I had a problem with Rory.
Her character wasn't done properly, they could have explained better why she hated lucifer so much. Chloe always told her that lucifer had left them for a good reason and rory saw lucifer trying to approach her, get to know her better, then why could she only forgive him when she shot him?
And yes, I think the end was pretty tragic, too.
But maybe I could have reconciled with it if they showed scenes that amenadiel informs lucifer about chloe, rory, about what's going on on earth. But I could even imagine lucifer and chloe corresponding through amenadiel. Or through any other angel. But of course the correspondence before rory is a secret.
And in the end, it could have been that they show how lucifer, rory, chloe, and the other angels eat in silver city, laugh, rejoice that they managed to do it all along. If that had been the case for me, I would have no problem with the ending. And with the seasont.

Lucifer: what is it u truly desire?
Me: I want a spin-off series of Lucifer where after the multiverse merges Lucifer found himself in a new world. You know the world where arrowverse is. But in that new world, he struggles to control his new powers when he merges with others (King Of Hell). After he self-actualized he found out that in this new world heaven/hell Chloe is gone. He began to search for her but he found out Chloe merge with her other-self. The moment Lucifer found her, he realized the person that in charge of the body isn't her. So he blames himself for not helping the heroes thinking he was safe from the threat.

Lucifer abandons them for a FULL human Lifetime..
and that would've been millions of years in hell for lucifer (his new Psychiatrist practice)

That didn't make sense to me either. He has come and gone before and Amenadiel can visit his family. It would have definitely softened the blow of how tragic the ending was if they had shown Lucifer doing the same.
@@knightvision1228 for me it makes perfect sense. He couldn't even show up on Earth because he couldn't take his word back. And if he shows there, on Earth, it could break time loop, so Rory would never be angry at him enough to travel back in time and never could see him. So he could never fulfil his life goal. Plus, he is an angel, Chloe is a human. It's no way how he could see her grow up and die without being heartbroken. It would be even more hard for both of them. So I think it's a perfect ending for such not ordinary couple
