I always love the fact that no matter how good you are on your particular instrument, everyone always like to see what the drummer does...look at all those guys staring. Maybe someone thinks "damn, I chose the wrong instrument", lol
Benny Goodman is smiling from somewhere beyond, and thus we have bands celebrating him today.
one of the best drummers I have ever heard and seen, wow
In my sixty years of listening to jazz clarinets players, Engelbert W is the greatest clarinetist I have ever heard. Technically he is flawless . Even better than his obvious mentor BG and also seems to possess perhaps one of the finest instruments. I would be curious to know more about it . I should also comment on Peter's excellent bass pedal work - I thought at first he had double pedals.
wow best clarinet solo ive ever heard
You don't see a good drummer in a tuxedo that often.
Excellent.
what a clarinet solo, so amazing and great
This is the reason for the Internet.
Tuxedo. Great.
Oooooh!!!! Unglaublich!!!! Very good orchestra!!!!
perfect stick control....awesome man.
oh myyy god!!! this drummer is the best I've EVER seen!
great band great drumming more love it
It’s amazing
I am a huge fan of The Butch Miles version but this is equally good. The tempo, and swing of the drummer is fabulous and the other soloists are brilliant too. Thanks for this . 😀
For a drummer that ain't Gene Krupa, he's pretty awesome! I'm trying to learn the drum track for this song, so this is a big help.
sorry what, he`s pretty awsome? In my opinion he is better than Krupa, and Krupa was one of the best !
Brilliant band and a brilliant preformence..love it..thank you fore sharing..
Ejecución magistral, interprete de elevado nivel, excelente versión sin lugar a dudas.
We all know this drummer loves to swing
Amazing drummer! Bravo!
Amazing.......I don't have words to describe this!!!
all of this new drum players from this metal and rock band should watch this video!
Excellent!!!!!
Génial !!!!!!! ........BRAVO !
Michel.
nothing is harder than drumming to sing sing sing....in a suit
****ing amazing! makes me wanna take swing dance lessons!
It's great work. Very impressive!
love that song
Wow pretty good sound, nice band! :)
Mr. Fleischer is a very talented drummer He does a nice job of pushing the band . very nice
I'd love to hear the full version of this.
This was a great performance -- what you allowed me to see of it, that is. I was disappointed to discover that parts of it were edited out, including part of the drum solo.
Best live perfomance
Thanks! Of course that´s right. The composer of "Sing, Sing, Sing" was the incredible Louis Prima.
This is one way to take music out off drums
outstanding.
I bet that no rockdrummer can play like him
Trop magnifique.......
My fav song was played at my masquarade, grand
magnifique melodyyyyy
super
As I have stated previously, look how real drummers hold the sticks, only varying it when the dots [musical direction to Ringo fans],dictate oherwise, drumming is, like all other musical disciplines, subjected to the same commitment, years of study, learning and endeavour, and yet we get Keith Moon, Ringo Starr, Ginger Baker being better known than Gene, I really really do despair, what shallow lives these half-wits must live, I'm nearly 71, fit and healthy, loving life and good music, I'm good
I sometimes use traditional grip - but as you will know it was designed to play the marching drum on an angle...it makes sense to play matched grip (which Buddy did at times too)...there are some amazing modern drummers: rock; fusion; jazz etc.
That´s right. Fletcher Henderson did a lot of Benny´s arrangements in the thirties.
sorry and, of course, a fantastic band
Sonor Hilite sounds greeeeeeeeeeat :)
I love chinas in jazz
this is how you play drumbs!
@JagoFettNZ
It´s a double kick pedal.
AL DIA SIGUIENTE...
Is that a double kick pedal or is he doing trips or quads?
"The artist" with jean dujardin ?
anyone notice the toccata and fugue of bach that the clarinetist played? Lol. 7.05
this song is in a movie, but I dont remember which one
Speaking from personal experience, I have to agree (I did this song alot when practicing drums at school, and for some reason 6th formers had to wear suits)
at 8:05 sounds like a tornado alarm
What does he say at 7:20?
+Aiden Es ist schön = It's beautiful
"Oh ist das schön", meaning "oh, that's beautiful"
That comes really late but he said: "Oh ist das schön!" wich would be in english: "Oh is that nice!"
"Ouh, that was good."
Fleischhauer did exactly what Gene Krupa did years ago.
@kingofswingorchestra But he did'nt do the arrangment and that's where the greatness is . Flecher Henderson did Benny goodmans arrangment.
dammmmm lol
4 thumbs up lol
@DelroyMonjo Believe it or not, Benny Goodman didn't write this song.
get lars ulrich out of metallica and put this guy in!
Great drummer, but its hard to take the performance 100% seriously as he is using a double pedal, which kind of kills the swing vibe
Toca re gacho ese cuate
druming soloing too much killed tyhe song but its good music
Not quite my tempo..
I think this is amazing but...
That is why it's so fast tempo,I don't like it...
It's too fast. Yes, he is an excellent drummer, but it doesn't work for me. I guess Louis Prima has spoiled me.
Garbage. Played way too fast.
