Transvulcania 2023 by UTMB

The 72k, 4600+ #Transvulcania on #LaPalma is one of the if not the most scenic #ultratrails there is but what has stuck most in my mind was a little boy in el Pilar who took my poles and flasks and returned them 15 seconds later refilled. Made me feel like a pro. Thank you.
Sorry about the audio, I had to mute copyrighted music and this was edited on a phone in a taxi, an airport, an airplane and several bars as well as a tiny roof terrace above la Orotava on Tenerife.

Haha, nein. Ich wohne nur nah an der Grenze zum Elsaß, daher die Läufe in dieser Gegend. :-) Danke.

That was incredible! I definately will go to Transvulcania in 2024. By the way, did you use standart size selfie stick or longer one?

Thank you! Transvulcania 2024 will no longer be under the 'by UTMB' brand in order to recapture it's unique character. I'm sure it's going to be awesome. I was using the std. selfie stick not the super long one. The Fisheys makes the camera look further away. :-)

@@chochmah Well, I have a feeling that leaving UTMB isn't bad decision, because looks like Transvulcania was even more stunning before contract with UTMB and now they want to go back to their glorious days. I really wanted to get few running stones here next year, but despite that I still want to go there and do similar movie like yours :)
