Not since Queens of the stone age have I fell this deeply in love! I’m 56 and my first love was The Who. All them witches are already legends! Makes me want to move to Tennessee and try to see them all the time!

it's like a band that would exist in True Blood. Except it really exists and is better than that.
May 2021. Just discovered this band on KEXP video recommended by YT algorithm. One of the few things Google got right, except for concealing them from me for so long. The cover art makes me think of Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin.
For me it's their best album.

My daughter took me to see them live in Glasgow in 2017 , she's been a fan from the beginning and I was blown away by their live show in a small venue ATW are one of the bands that I listen to and watch on You tube throughout the year
I have been listening to head music since the 60s. This is good enough to be included with excellent tunes from that era. Consider me new fan.

I blacked out underwater surfing a hurricane once. Had some powerful "life flash before your eyes" moments. Had to click on this, very glad I did.

I also came close to meeting my maker surfing the day after a hurricane passed through in giant shorebreak. Great album.
This album came out as my brother, who was born in Waikiki and surfed before he could walk, was slipping into the Great Tubular Wave in the Beyond, we stayed medicated on the back deck of my mom's reminiscing about our childhood and memories to this album, it was perfect.
I think I have a new favorite band.

I'm embarrassed to say that I only recently discovered the amazing ATW. Since that time their music has been on high rotation on top of my ears! They are a brilliant band, hugely talented, but "Dying Surfer' is truly sublime. Non pareil. I cannot stop listening, and can it be a coincidence that none of their UA-cam music is undiluted by ADVERTISEMENTS!!?? Thanks to those responsible for this. Incredible music! Come to Australia once the COVID crisis is over please!!!! Haven't heard rock music this good since the 70's!!! Love you guys!!

was listening to Lord Of the Rings soundtrack too, started tearing and in that moment it started to drizzle outside.
This album is fucking mysterious. it's count with the best of Sabbath and Zeppelin to me.

Saw them live in Salt Lake right before Covid shut everything down. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen! Walked out with a shit eating grin that would not fade. Do whatever you have to to see them live.

I thought i would find a few songs from this album but wow the whole album needs to be heard in its entirety. Can't remember last time i thought that about an album, decades maybe ! The progressions on "Mellowing" are so great, reminding me of Jimmy Paige
It's like a modern rock-influenced blues band that grew up on Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, and U2 B-Sides. Have yet to find a song that I don't like, and this is one of my new favorite albums.
It was a such a pity to compare this band to a mediocre, boring and annoying band as U2 it is :)

I enjoy these nice ballads.
These guys come up with such great work time and again. This release just showcases their sound so well. I'm glad we are all here on the ground floor of knowing who the are before they truly take off and become huge.
hope these guys never make it well I hope they do it just seems that when a band makes it the music suffers

My gods,these guys just keep getting better. This album is just flawless,it has the perfect balance of jams and more focused songs. The overall groove and flow of the album is great from start to finish.
Talisman and the last track are awesome.. like right hand... just masterpieces..

All or nothing. All Them Witches' 'Dying Surfer Meets His Maker' is powerful and endearing. The entire album plays like a requiem for a king. A fantastic lyrical journey accompanied by heavy drums, fading echoes and at times delicate and haunting strings. It unearths a continuum of legendary sounds familiar to ear like the Doors, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin, all the while carving an independent niche on their own to follow.

This is soooo good! I have listened to this a lot and it never gets old. Maybe one of these days we will have concerts and live music again. I would drive to Tennessee for a weekend to see these guys at one of their local spots. We wait patiently...

when i reached 9 i was walking in the desert. Far in a distance i saw 8 lightnings and knew instantly there will be water. There were many things in my way i had to conquer but leaning forwards and barely touching ground with my hands i kept moving forwards. Wish of survival was my guidance. Grabbing cold ground and squeezing in my fists pulling forwards through darkness. When a 9 lightening stroke it lit everything around me and for the first time i stopped on top of a small hill and looked around. What a journey this was. Far in a distance i saw a small shivering light where the lightening hit. I knew in my gut its where im going, my happy place. Rubbed mud of my hands, put them at my mouth and gave a blow of warm air. I have to carry on, i have to move and not give in to mother earth. I am walking a path of my destiny.
