U can but this is probably a little bit less work... Especially if u are cutting 2 pairs of jeans, coz then u have 2 random jeans halves lying around. Which, unless u decide to 2 pairs of jeans, will be rendered useless.
Anyone know if a G9 Harrington jacket will dye? I mean including the elastic cuffs and the inside collar. I once dyed a beige jacket (ben Sherman) blue and the collars and cuff stayed beige. Thanks
you are a genius for the bleach goop. I was looking for this for so long, I want to try experimentation with splatter jeans but the bleach concentration in the goop must be very high. I wonder why the jacket's goop prevented the bleach from doing its job, maybe it needs to be more runny, like the consistency of paint?
This looks awesome! I can't find white mom jeans in my size so I'm going to bleach an entire pair white so I can dye them light pink and put pink hearts on the knees. I'm also going to make one pair black/grey. I think it'll be cute and definitely something new since I haven't worn jeans that weren't solid black or blue in the last 10 years
Not sure if it would work for clothes, but when I bleach my hair, I put conditioner on the roots of the part of my hair that isn’t getting bleached and it stops it from seeping! :) worth a go I’d say. Let me know if anyone tries this
How did you get your jeans to lighten so fast?!! This is now my fourth attempt at trying to bleach my jeans white, and nothing seems to be working. I’ve soaked them in a tub of bleach/water solution for 1 hour, (didn’t do much) then did a bleach bath for about 8 hours, (only got them slightly lighter blue) and then sprayed/soaked them with a 100% bleach solution and let them sit overnight. (A few spots are somewhat white, but the majority of the denim is still blue. I washed them in my machine, and now just sprayed another 100% bleach solution on both sides and will let it sit for a few days. The jeans are 99% cotton, so I have no idea what I’m doing wrong since most people seem to be able to get pure white after a few hours. (I’m being VERY generous and completely soaking them, so I don’t think it’s because I’m not using enough) Do you have any tips for me?? Thank you so much, and very helpful video!! I really appreciate you showing what went wrong since most people just show the perfect “after” which gets frustrating. Thanks!!
hiii ! happy to help :) first thing i would double check is the bleach you are using sometimes different brands have different formulas and arent as strong. but i would also be super careful when bleaching that long because the threads might start to fall apart. try another bleach and let me know if that works
