I love your style and your approach to oil painting ❤🙏and I am curious what kind of oil painting do you prefer? Do you use it straight from the tube or do you use any medium and how do you eventually varnish?
I use turpentine or Liquin from Winsor for the first layer to achieve a thinner consistency and improve paint flow. If the pigments are too thick, I add a little bit of linseed oil. For the last layer and highlights, I apply the paint directly from the tube. I use a variety of brands, but my favorite is Winsor & Newton. I plan to make a video to show my palette. Thank you! 🙏🏼 I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
