I had the same AVS in-channel ones on a truck that I installed 15+ years ago and they had the exact same QC issues. The windows wouldn't roll up right with them on and they cracked after a few years (front windows), plus the glue let go and I had to replace the 3M tape. I've never used the in-channel ones again. A professional car detailing shop owner I spoke to recently also confirmed that they never install those in-channel models, as there are too many issues with those for their customers. A waste of time, money and aggravation.
