Great breakdown once again no doubt! Gameplay looks great and the overall presentation two thumbs up. I hope we hear something about equipment and jeresys as far as throwbacks and etc!
Amazing breakdown, guys. I wish their video was better quality but Bordeaux had a great breakdown with good quality. In defense of the snow, it looks like that snow is after it’s stopped snowing and the snow is more melted and being played on. The snow previously shown was an active snowstorm, so it could be dynamic?
Dude this was a earlier version of the game back when they were in EA to play the game equipment and rosters were probably the last thing they put in so I wouldn’t worry about that
Friendly reminder this is college football. The defense isn’t supposed to be good and the DBs rnt supposed to be as good as NFL. Criticizing coverages for being Late or not in time doesn’t make any sense.
To combat wear and tear, assuming there's not a major disparity between my running backs, I'll have my back-up in formation subs then call a couple plays out of that formation to rest the starter. I did that in Madden '24 with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, but the Lions have two really good running backs you want to get on the field.
That's a good gameplan! I'm looking forward to using Formation & Quick Subs to hopefully balance touches and development. Hopefully this helps make it more important to recruit overall depth than just a loaded starting 22. Thanks for watching and the comment! -cdj
For the “F” and “C” for the boundary and nickel corners, those are showing up with the full defensive play art so I’m guessing we’re looking at Donovan’s screen. It’s showing him his play call, the “F” and “C” I think are “force” and “contain” as part of the run fit.
Thanks for that! We kind of assumed that (esp. Kwizzy), but weren’t sure….kind of caught us by surprise it was in there. Does Madden 24 have it? Thanks for watching and the comment!
Not sure about Madden 24. Haven’t played Madden for a couple years. I think the F and C for force and contain as part of your defensive play art have been in EA football games for a while though.
That is a very underrated topic - I'm surprised more people haven't asked for an equipment blog! It looks like they added a LOT of equipment this year. They should highlight their work! Thanks for watching and the comment! -cdj

Bordeaux said in his own video they played on Heisman version, not All-American. Also, a lot of missed tackles were on the user that I could tell. A lot of dives or bad angles.
The OL/DL interactions looked troublesome. This is a legacy issue in EA football games. One could drive a semi through some of gaps. That’s not football. Happy for the series’ return. It, not optimistic at all about gameplay. The last time EA marketed wide open gameplay, we ended up with NCAA 09, one of the worst ever.
@@justinwilson980 You can watch Bama vs sisters of the poor and not see lanes like that. That’s not football. Also, how many decades have we been asking for gang tackling? This is college football. @@CW-sn3lf that is Football. More specifically College Football. Lanes like this are more likely to happen Remember TCU -Michigan from a few years ago Michigan-Alabama last year? Thank you! Totally agree- we’re interested in seeing all the equipment and uni options as well.

In Boise State’s clip today the snow looked better, so maybe it was an old build or maybe dynamic like you suggested? (That would be cool, if so.)
@@TheGamingTailgate yeah I noticed that also. I’d be so excited if they had some dynamic weather in the game!

there's an option to substitute/ have different packages in the playcall menu to swap players out. Donovan just used the pause menu instead lol

I liked the Madden 24 passing...
It sounds like you’ll be able to keep rolling with it in CFB 25 then!
Im pretty sure its like madden 25 and once in formation u hit triangle (its muscle memory)i think but it's button for quick subs.

Madden 24 does have the force and contain icons when you pull up the player

Look the gameplay SUCKS they copied pasted Madden and made the defense dumber with no tackling ability for that “wide open gameplay”

Gaps that big are more frequent in college even when playing schools on a similar level but I understand your concern completely
