    Great video! Just getting into airsoft so I was hoping you could help me a bit. When you talk about removing teeth, do you mean from the gear or the piston? What speed motor would you recommend to get about 25-30 RPS? Have a perun mosfet and was given a set of 13:1 gears. Have a 7.4 lipo but was considering upgrading to a 11.1 if I can find one to fit. Thank for your help and keep making these videos!

      It all depends on the rate of fire you are going for. How many rounds per second are you targeting? I find 35 rps is the easiest to work with and a good middle ground.

    Hey man how would a brushless do in a stock gun with 18:1? I’m thinking of throwing one in a lct ak. Would this be an appropriate alternative to a mosfet, zci motor and 13:1 gear? My main priority is a reliable gun for milsim west, so I’m trying to mess with it as little as possible.

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft 7 місяців тому

      If you want to keep it reliable. I suggest getting the T238 33k short type. Should land you about 26 rps if your shooting for 1.5J on whatever weight bb you use. Anymore than rps the build will require short stroking and/or stronger to prevent pme. 39k would send it over 30rps and risk of failure is higher.

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft 8 місяців тому

      If its a 19 tooth piston inside that rifle. Then I recommend against even a 11.1v lipo as the long stroke of those pistons can get damaged unless you put a stronger spring in to prevent it from happening.

    • @wyshtechairsoft

      Yes but you'll need to short stroke to 12 tooth as it will cycle roughly 35rps. 39k gets 40 to 45rps.

    thanks for your videos , i always watch relative material before i proceed to a certain upgrade. ..... and now i have a very serious question , i got myself a brushless warhead motor (the BASE model) , i realize these motors have ACTICE BRAKE intergated inside , so if gun has electronic trigger unit with active brake by default (like ARES/ICS/etc) that can NOT be disengaged like after market titans or jefftrons active brakes can be turned off , will there be a problem with both active brakes engaged simultaneously? Will it work smoothly or i will run into problems?

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft Рік тому +1

      You risk the chance of ruining the brushless motor. I personally wouldnt try it until you get either a mosfet with no active braking OR an electronic trigger unit that you can turn it off. Though Id recommend the perun v2 hybrid and ran the active braking on setting 3 with no issues on many builds.

      @ZEFOS1100XX I have been able to use a warhead motor on the EFCS system. You can either cut out the magnet from the old sector gear, buy ares magnet kit from evike.com, or reuse the sector gear. Though because of ARES and any other rifle that uses the EFCS system I never recommend the brands due to being proprietary. The unit's themselves are unreliable and cant handle much loads. Especially if the gun is upgraded. I personally hate ARES products because they're garbage internals. Cyma, Specna Arms, Double Bell, Double Eagle, and Lancer Tactical are the best starter guns and very "upgrade friendly" unlike ARES products.

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft 4 місяці тому +1

      @hiddenhand7659 that my friend is tappet plate timing issue. Only way to truely fix it is to short stroke the sector gear on the release by 1 or 2 teeth. See, the rifle was cycling so fast that the tappet plate was getting pulled back before the piston finishes it's stroke. Slowing it down fixes this because it gives the piston more time to finish its stroke. Faster the cycle, the faster the piston needs to finish it's stroke.

    • @wyshtechairsoft

      @wyshtechairsoft what brushless motor do you use for the perun? T238?
      13/1 full stroke, 3/4 port, m125(1.45j) for use with a 7.4 li-on titan for a slim stock.
      I might short stroke 1 tooth if I decide to use a 11.1 titan with a thick stock

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft 5 місяців тому +1

      I prefer the T238 motor over the warhead. Better semi-auto response due to the faster startup response of the motor. Also, a 11.1 lipo would give you even better semi auto response and rps than that 11.1 titan. Titan batteries are poor performance batteries due to being Li-Ion. Also, short stroke 3 teeth on the release side for pme prevention and to correct tappet timing since you want to run 1.45J. Otherwise, you'll run into PME and ruin your internals.
