Making a Cow Tail Contact Tow Line for Sea Kayaking

Here is my take on a contact tow or "cow tail" for sea kayaking. This is used as a quick way to secure to kayaks together in a rescue scenario.

HI Nick- why didn't you just use 3-strand rope and put in an eye splice, instead of using those hog rings, etc. ?

I was using material I had on hand. I like splicing, but I wanted something quick and easy. The braided rope, hog rings and heat shrink fit the bill.
