it is interesting that you need this suit in order to survivie the pressure of the ocean yet in the vaccum of space - which is essentially just the exact opposite force - they are somehow able to wear lightweight cloth suits that allow the astronauts to move freely without restriction. hmmmm
there is also cosmic radiation and small tiny space junk that travels at high speed that can easily penetrate you're space suit so there new kind of hazards.
There are lots of exosuits in existence, they've been around since the 60s, its a nice suit but defiantly not worth 600k, especially for this kind of engineering, joints like that are nearly 80 years old, with the idea going back even further.
The technology has come a long way since then. The electronics in this model alone can easily push the price tag that high. It's also a prototype. The pirce will most certainly go down once they are in production.
Considering if you know anything about water pressure and it’s effects on the human body 600k is not to much money to not have to worry about those outcomes
We have a mysterious large disc-shaped object here in the Baltic sea. Care to investigate? My ROV can't handle the depth and a drilled sample is needed.
james townsend and it took that guy 12 min down and 15 hours to get back to surface, not to mentipn the 4 years training for that one dive..... ADS suit allows anyone with no saturation techniques to go straight up and down with no stops and stay at the bottom for much longer as well
Why didn’t they use these type of suites on that blown oil rig well in the Gulf of Mexico a few years back ? The Horizon they use ROV to cap the well head took 2 months.
Sat diving is sooo cool! I feel disconnected from society. I get to see things the normal human doesent! In all reality , it's very dangerous. I always have a fear of decompression at deep depths. You actually implode! Very bad.
The Meme Master of Cancertopia This thing was in development long before Narcosis came out. So technically Narcosis copied this design, not vice versa.
Stupid question but does anybody know if a human is able to descend to 1000 feet, assuming he has the breathing abilities via tanks or would you NEEED this suit?
@@frostedpancake3882 So not exactly, you CAN descend to 1000 feet underwater. World record is 1090 feet. however it takes literally 15 hours to ascend from the depth at that point.
The P.R.A.W.N suit from subnautica in real life
The prawn suit is closer to a mech than a exosuit considering it's limbs are driven by robotic servos and not the user moving their arms within.
@@an8thdimensionalbeing142 then it's a S.H.R.E.M.P suit then?
More like narcosis. Look at that game. It looks so limilar. Like in the game u see suits looking like that at some parts of the game.
More like it's little brother.
The Abyss Diving Suit from Barotrauma in real life.
Welcome aboard captain, all systems online.
Yes we need a suit like this wonderful 50 hours of life support
The walking coffin
Nice comment, made me laugh!!

Matt1Up gravity and pressure are things.
+Matt1Up vacum is 0 atsmopheres, 1 less than normal air. 1000 feet is over 31 atsmopheres 30 more than normal air.

Subnautica prawn suit vibes
Modern bioshock
Is it 10 000 feet or just 1,000 feet
His hand like things remind me of those goddamn crocodile claws used in circuits in primary school
Alligator clips?
Bio shock got a new upgrade... I prefer old suits ..
Everyone is a gangsta till the fish start looking at you weird
The submarine suit lets you dive 1000 feet
Meanwhile in "Underwater"
subnautica be like..
So this is how you protect from wasps

You're paying for the certifications with this kind of stuff.
Actually this suit is over a million dollars cost and Is a 1 atmosphere suit capable of 2000 feet!
Big daddy is that you?
That‘s the Michelin mascot!
Reminds me the movie "The Abyss"!!! Very Cool!! Thanks for the video!!
Suits like this has been around for at least 25 years. This is nothing new at all.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_diving_suit#/media/File:Tritonia_Lusitania_1935.jpg
100's of years scarily ..
@@klixtrio7760 That one from 1913 looks like diving bell with arms and legs attached
This is new, those suits were designed to be diving suits, not supposed to go lower than 1000 ft.
Ah heck nah, I ain’t going into the midnight zone to say hello to a giant squid!
James Townsend - and the world record depth for atmospheric diving is in excess of 2,100 ft, so what's your point? SCUBA hobbyists need not apply.
Atmospheric Diving Suit has been around for a long long time.
Claustrophobia alert!!!
Reminds me of the movie "Inner Space"!!! Great stuff!
It a bit reminds me ,,For your Eyes only,,
That thing will give you claustrophobia.
I just think of the panzer soldat from zombies idk why just reminds me of it.
I was watching vids of 1950s deep sea diving suits
subnautica irl
In the first second of this video and we already got 👌🏻
600k? This looks like something from the 1800s
We have a mysterious large disc-shaped object here in the Baltic sea. Care to investigate? My ROV can't handle the depth and a drilled sample is needed.
The suit is exactly like narcosis. The game narcosis.
There are 35 of these suits world wide
Yeah but the world record for scuba diving is 1090 feet, just saying.

What have you seen?
This isn't saturation diving idiot.
you explode*
It’s based of the original subamarine armor
Did somebody saw the 👌🏻
Narcosis anyone? Seriously this suit is like the EXACT same thing from narcosis except with the robotic arms and fiber optic cable
The Meme Master of Cancertopia This thing was in development long before Narcosis came out. So technically Narcosis copied this design, not vice versa.
Oh yeah yeah
I wonder if it's shark proof
Deeper dives have been done with less bulky equipment
But this eliminates the need for decompression, which means that you don’t need a team of saturation divers to do any meaningful work.
Prawn suit?
Under water space suit
Still can’t get it to the titanic
Stupid question but does anybody know if a human is able to descend to 1000 feet, assuming he has the breathing abilities via tanks or would you NEEED this suit?
I think so, the water pressure at that depth will crush you.

DANGER Will Robinson DANGER!!!
No Will Robinson DANGER!!!
nuno nomes can dive that deep without a suit
Michael Pac And he can stay there for like a minute before spending 12 hours ascending.
Conichal electro air cavitatio, spare breatheble air!
Didn't an X files episode have this? The one with the lost fighter jets, and the salvage people using one of these?
With todays technology and 600k this is the best thing a group od scientist and engineers came up with???? What a joke.
Today’s technology isn’t much different than 60 years ago so far as abiding the laws of physics go..
lol they said it's speed is 100 meters a minute, thats only 3.72 MPH, which is slower than walking... this is slow as fuck
I'm a fatass, so that's a pretty fast walking speed actually.
KatyabolMC 100 feet/min even slower
kkkkk in deep star six movie there is no just one but 5 diving suits like this one ... kkkkkk
I have seen this Anime Movie, they all die
Can you say copy of the Newt Suit.
+wcresponder ...not really. It was designed by the same inventor. It's innovation and evolution; not copying.
Does it have a hydration system
Useless suit
