I have worked in I.T. for 25 years. One company spent 10+ years & $124M to replace their legacy system. My last employer chose a CRM to replace Power BI, a flimsy ERP to replace a MS ERP, & the CRM creator/Marketing Mgr to replace the I.T. Manager (me). Last I heard everything is crashing regularly & "reporting" is way off.

They should have special meetings for those who suffer from the affliction of "shining object syndrome". I had been stuck learning so many different things for more than a year and a half. Finally, had an intervention with some friends who pulled me away from this unspoken condition. Now I am fine cause I am learning only 1 tech stack, LOL.

I'm betting on Rust and WASM + javascript together. Web apps are closer then ever, with now Chrome introducing WebGPU support, even Adobe has Photoshop made using WASM + Rust, and Microsoft is switching to Rust and wep apps also. That's the future, so there you go. Go learn Rust

Stick with one thing cs50 is fine. Stick with it finish it and do not waste time looking for the right thing to learn. Just do dont think

@@phongtranquoc7557 the course is about C, python, sql, some html css js. Should i just stick with them after finished the course? Some people says js and py are bad for web, and java/php has better performance. I'm at week5 of cs50 rn but im curious what to do after the course. Do i need to learn other thing like java or php or just build things by what i have learned?

Python is simpler in syntax than Java, and is great for web dev with Django, and then you can use Javascript for front end. With Python you can either use object oriented programming or not.. it's up to you, but with Java, you're forced to use OOP.

This is the route I’m going down. Sometimes when I’m bored of what ever I’m doing I will go have a little look at something like C but soon get back to it.
As a self learner I’m in both MIMO and Solo Learn. Using both to kinda reaffirm the other. What should I do after these though? Just focus on projects?

      1. Tutorial / learning
      2. Project
      3. Connect everything you learned make it into a all in one project
      4. Get inspiration from other people's work

@saber8387 I've just had this realization and I'm working toward creating a small game where I can implement c/c++, sql into the game and use html/css/js to create a site to promote and host the game/community. At least this is what I'm telling myself... 😂

Instead of focusing how to make a product of your own and the skills required you are "teaching" how to get hired.
The chances you will get hired are slim, and even if you were the top dog you will get laid off a few months after.
This guy is a shill, a facade, while said some other UA-camr is a fraud(for example tech lead) while he himself is one of them
