Maybe it's just me but I think that, throughout this video, Tom wanted to implicitly show the global situation of France to everyone watching him all around the world by intentionnally shooting what looks like a regular ASMR video in public so they can understand by seeing how messed up the streets are that not everything always goes well in our country, but hey, that's just a theory...
