There are no titles for God's Minister's in scripture for Reverend Doctor. Only God has the title Reverend. Read Psalm 111:9 and Hebrews 12:28. False titles given and bestowed upon men who are to Revere God make a mockery of God being the supreme Creator and sustainer of all life.
Clearly you have misinterpreted scripture; however if you don't like the word Reverend, don't use it. Nevertheless, proper study of scripture will reveal to you that Psalm 111:9 is not referring to a title of Reverend but is saying that God's name should be revered. No clue why you referred to the Hebrew passage but to each his or her own.
