A sheet on an elastic band in a round crib

Hello!!!
In this video we will make an elastic bed sheet in a round crib. The diameter of the mattress is 75 cm. The height is 12 cm, but we will make a sheet that will pass for any height of the mattress.
First, cut a square of 77 by 77 cm (including allowances). Next, add the square diagonally, and then again diagonally.
To cut an even circle, we lay 38.5 cm (77 cm / 2) from the top (i.e. center) as in the video. Next, connect the points and cut out. Our circle is ready.
For the side of the sheet, we cut off a strip of fabric about 20 cm wide and about 2.5 meters long (then we’ll cut off the excess).
We connect the circle and the strip face to face, as shown in the video.

Какая длина нижней детали?

Примерно 2.5 метра, но лучше взять больше, т.к. все равно нужно будет отрезать лишний "хвостик"
