I had that exact car but with cloth seats from 1990 to 1997, loved every minute of it! Thanks for bringing us this video.

My Dad bought one brand new, in a limited Blue Color. It was pretty cool, I won't lie. We lived over by Shenandoah Texas, and were going to Road Trip up to Dam B , to see the family. He took his Car, and I had just finished a relatively stock build, on a 225 HP 289CID, in my 1964 Fairlane 500 Hardtop. I didn't know the way, and was to follow Dad, through the Hill Country. I see Texas in your name, so you know the Roads I am talking about. Anyway, we're cruising around 70 mph and he downshifts and takes off. I flash my lights but he just goes faster. So, I punched it, and you could hear the Holley open up and the Headers roar. I catch up, so he adds more speed and kept adding speed and I realized he was trying to outrun me. So, I just upped the speed and stayed on his Butt all the way to Granddads. He couldn't shake me. We get there and he ambles up to me and says, "uh, Son, do you know how fast we were going back there?". I said, "my speedo stops at 120mph, but if I had to guess, over 130mph. Why?". Dad, " well, I was trying to lose you, and you never got lost. We hit over 135mph!". I laughed. I said, "maybe you could have won, had I not just finished this Car. But not now.". It really stunned him and I laughed and said, "you just learned what Enzo Ferrari learned at Le Mans for a 3-4 years running." and wandered off. Too funny. I had just redone the Frame and suspension, Rebuilt the Engine , replaced the Rear Leaf Springs with a heavier brand new set, Clutch set for the Toploader 4spd. She was a Beast. Nice Car, but avoid the Fairlanes lol

What a fun car! I need to own one sports car in my lifetime. It would be an early to mid 80's Supra.
A rare bird when I look. Most are beat to death and left rusting in a front yard somewhere or restored and are as much as a new Tacoma. Glad to see you respect your vehicle!

yoooo where in texas is yours located? I'm in HTX. I own an 85' Celica Supra with 80,000 original miles, has it's 5-speed manual original 5m. Mechanically sound with no issues. Mine is 95% factory stock/OEM, including the entire interior. The motor has an alternator from an SC400. Has a stage 4 clutch, straight-pipe with a muffler and titanium exhaust from a 600hp eclipse.
