It's amazing to me, as a born, bred, and raised American how many of these I thought were American, and how many of them were from the Netherlands, because Americans never hear about the Netherlands. Like, we hear about England, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Norway, Finland, and Sweden, and acknowledge Portugal. We hear a little bit about Switzerland and realize that Eastern Europe does not usually impact the U.S., but the Netherlands just slips under the radar somehow, I don't know. I think it's like how no one, even in the U.S., hears about Iowa or Indiana, granted Indiana has the Indianapolis 500, but nobody hears about that. It's weird. P.S. For the international folks that don't know, Iowa and Indiana are U.S. states kind of near the Great lakes and Toronto Canada.
